Product Overview
The Regatta Professional Pro Pilot Jacket is an expertly engineered garment designed for those who require a contemporary aesthetic without compromising on technical weather protection. Constructed with a waterproof Hydrafort 5000 exterior and supplemented by recycled insulation, this jacket is designed to transition seamlessly from autumn through to the depths of winter. Its urban pilot profile ensures a professional appearance while the high-shine fabric provides a distinct, modern edge for the modern workforce.
Key Features
- Waterproof Hydrafort 100% Polyester: This high-performance fabric provides a reliable barrier against rain, ensuring the wearer remains dry during outdoor tasks or travel.
- Recycled Thermoguard Insulation: High-loft synthetic fibres trap air to provide exceptional warmth without adding unnecessary bulk, utilising recycled materials for a more sustainable choice.
- Taffeta Quilted Lining: The internal 100% polyester taffeta lining allows the jacket to glide easily over mid-layers, preventing friction and increasing comfort throughout the day.
- Secure Zip Detailing: Finished with trendy, robust zips that provide secure storage for essential items while maintaining the jacket's streamlined silhouette.
Design & Performance
The performance of this jacket lies in its layered construction. The outer shell uses Hydrafort technology, which is both waterproof and windproof, providing essential protection from the elements. This is paired with a high-shine finish that not only looks professional but offers a durable surface that resists the rigours of daily wear.
Internally, the Thermoguard insulation is designed to mimic the heat-trapping properties of natural down while being quick-drying and resilient. Despite its lightweight feel, the insulation provides significant thermal retention, making it an ideal choice for stationary work in cold environments or active use in winter weather.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Regatta Pro Pilot Jacket is a versatile canvas for your corporate identity. Our Telford-based team, with expertise dating back to 1976, recommends embroidery for a prestigious and durable finish on the chest or arms. This method is particularly effective for company logos, providing a three-dimensional, high-quality look that withstands frequent laundering.
For larger, high-impact branding on the reverse, print is an excellent alternative. It allows for bold, vibrant designs that remain lightweight and flexible. Regardless of your choice, our in-house specialists ensure your branding is applied with precision, maintaining the integrity of the Hydrafort fabric.
Use Cases
This jacket is perfectly suited for supervisory roles, site visits, or transport and delivery professionals who need to maintain a sharp, urban appearance while staying protected from the rain and cold. It is equally at home in a corporate setting as it is on a modern construction site or during an autumn commute.

Practical Advice
This jacket features a standard fit and is available in sizes ranging from Small to 3XL. Given its insulated nature, we recommend sticking to your usual size if you intend to wear it over a standard shirt or polo. However, if you plan to layer it over a heavy-weight sweatshirt or fleece, you may wish to consider the measurements provided to ensure ease of movement across the shoulders.
Caring for your product
To maintain the waterproof integrity of the Hydrafort fabric, we recommend a cool machine wash using Regatta Isotex cleaner or a pure soap. Conventional detergents can sometimes break down the water-repellent coatings, so using the correct cleaning agent will significantly extend the life of your jacket.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and damage the high-shine finish. We also advise against tumble drying; instead, allow the jacket to air dry naturally to preserve the Thermoguard insulation's loft and shape.
Should the jacket require pressing, use a cool iron only. High heat can melt synthetic fibres and damage the waterproof membrane. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemicals involved are too harsh for the specialised fabric coatings.
