Product Overview

The PW3 Winter Coverall is a robust solution designed for those who refuse to let the British winter stall their progress. Engineered from a hard-wearing polyester fabric with a stain-resistant finish, this garment offers exceptional protection against the elements while maintaining a professional appearance. It is a substantial, insulated garment designed to provide a comprehensive barrier against rain, wind, and freezing temperatures.

Key Features

  • Detachable quilt-lined hood: Provides versatile thermal protection for the head and neck, which can be removed when the weather clears.
  • Extra long side leg zips: Facilitates easy access, allowing the wearer to put on or remove the coverall without needing to take off their boots.
  • 8 functional secure storage pockets: Ensures essential tools, phones, and personal items are always within reach and safely stored.
  • Top-loading kneepad pockets: Allows for the quick insertion of knee protection, which is essential for maintaining comfort and health during ground-level tasks.
  • Stain-resistant finish: Helps the garment remain clean and professional-looking for longer by repelling oil and water-based spills.

Design & Performance

The exterior is crafted from Portwest Extreme Waterproof fabric, utilizing a 300D Oxford weave. This material is double PU coated, providing a formidable barrier against moisture while remaining breathable enough for active work. The heavy-duty nature of the fabric ensures it can withstand the abrasions and scuffs common in demanding industrial environments.

Inside, the heavyweight padding provides substantial thermal insulation, trapping body heat to keep the wearer warm in sub-zero conditions. The quilt-lined interior is not merely for warmth; it adds a layer of structural integrity and comfort that prevents the garment from feeling cumbersome during long shifts.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The PW3 Winter Coverall is well-suited for both embroidery and print customisation. Given its heavy-duty nature and the professional image it projects, embroidery is an excellent choice for adding company logos or staff names. This method offers a durable finish that stands up well to frequent washing and outdoor use.

For those requiring larger, high-impact branding across the back, our high-quality printing process ensures bold and clear results. All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility, where we have been perfecting workwear branding since 1976.

Use Cases

This coverall is an essential choice for civil engineers, site managers, and maintenance teams working in exposed or unheated environments. It is equally effective for agricultural work, railway maintenance, or logistics operations where prolonged exposure to cold and wet weather is a daily reality.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage dating back to 1976, MyWorkwear understands that workwear must be as dependable as the person wearing it. Based in Telford, we combine decades of technical expertise with the latest branding technology to ensure your team looks professional, stays warm, and remains protected.

Practical Advice

The generous cut of this winter coverall is designed to be worn over standard work trousers and shirts. If you intend to wear particularly bulky base layers, we recommend checking our size guide carefully to ensure you maintain a full range of motion while working.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical performance of the waterproof coating and the longevity of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum of 40°C using a mild process. High temperatures can degrade the PU coating and damage the adhesive bonds used in printing.

Do not use bleach, as this chemical process will break down the synthetic fibres and cause significant discolouration. To ensure the heavyweight padding remains in its correct position and to protect the stain-resistant finish, the coverall should be drip-lined dried. We advise against tumble drying, as the heat and mechanical action can cause shrinkage.

Ironing should be avoided entirely, as direct heat can melt the synthetic outer shell and the waterproof membrane. Similarly, do not dry clean this garment, as the solvents used in the process can strip away the protective coatings that keep you dry.
