Practical Advice
As this is a lightweight garment, it is highly versatile for layering. In cooler environments, it can comfortably be worn over thermal base layers. We recommend selecting your usual size, as the pre-shrunk cotton ensures the fit remains consistent after washing. Ensure that any custom branding does not obscure the reflective tape to maintain the garment's safety rating.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance of the reflective tape and the integrity of the cotton fibres, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Washing at higher temperatures may cause the fabric to degrade prematurely and can affect the clarity of any custom embroidery or print.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Chlorine and other bleaching agents will break down the natural cotton fibres and can permanently damage the reflective properties of the safety tape, reducing its effectiveness in low-light situations.
For drying, a low tumble dry setting is recommended, although line drying is the preferred method to extend the life of the garment. Excessive heat in a dryer can lead to unnecessary stress on the seams and may cause slight shrinkage over time despite the pre-shrunk nature of the fabric.
Ironing should be performed at a maximum temperature of 150°C. This ensures the coverall looks sharp and professional without scorching the cotton. For deep cleaning, the garment is suitable for professional dry cleaning using Tetrachloroethene under normal processes.
