Product Overview
The PW3 Modaflame Work HVO Multi-Norm FR Coverall is a sophisticated piece of protective apparel engineered for environments where multiple risks are a constant reality. Built with Modaflame™ fabric, this coverall offers inherent flame resistance and anti-static properties, ensuring that protection is built into the fibres themselves rather than relying on a surface treatment that could diminish over time. It balances the stringent requirements of high-visibility standards with the practical needs of active workers through innovative design and ergonomic features.
Key Features
- Stretch panelling: Placed in key movement areas to provide exceptional flexibility, allowing you to move freely without the restriction common in traditional heavy-duty coveralls.
- Back ventilation: Enhances airflow through the garment, preventing heat build-up and keeping you comfortable during intensive tasks or in warmer conditions.
- Pre-bent sleeves and adjustable cuffs: These design choices ensure a more natural fit and allow for precise adjustment at the wrists, preventing the sleeves from interfering with your work.
- Integrated storage: Multiple pockets are strategically placed to provide ample space for essential tools and personal items, keeping them accessible but secure.
- Adjustable waistband: Allows for a more tailored fit, ensuring the coverall remains secure and maintains a professional appearance throughout the day.
Design & Performance
This coverall is constructed from a robust fabric blend consisting of Modacrylic, Viscose, Polyester, Aramid, and Carbon Fibre. This combination is specifically chosen for its moisture management properties and a soft handle that belies its substantial protective capabilities. Because the flame resistance is inherent, the garment maintains its integrity even after repeated laundering. The addition of carbon fibre provides essential anti-static protection, while the high-visibility orange and black design meets EN ISO 20471 and RIS 3279 standards for rail and industrial safety. The inclusion of Modaflame™ Work Stretch fabric ensures that durability does not come at the expense of mobility.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
Despite its technical nature, this coverall is perfectly suited for customisation. Our in-house team in Telford, established in 1976, has decades of experience in applying company branding to safety-critical garments. For a professional and long-lasting finish, embroidery is ideal for company logos and staff names, providing a texture that withstands the rigours of industrial work. If you require larger, high-impact branding, our printing services offer bold visibility. We ensure that every application respects the technical properties of the garment while ensuring your team presents a cohesive, professional image.
Use Cases
This garment is designed for professionals operating in high-risk sectors such as petrochemicals, rail, and electrical utilities. It is particularly suitable for those requiring protection against heat, flame, and static build-up while needing to remain highly visible. Whether you are working on a rail site or a complex industrial facility, this coverall provides the necessary multi-norm protection without compromising on the comfort required for a full shift.

Practical Advice
Given the multi-layered nature of protective workwear, consider your base layers when selecting your size. This coverall is designed with an adjustable waistband and stretch panelling, but ensuring there is enough room for moisture-wicking undergarments will significantly improve your overall comfort and the garment's performance in managing heat.
Caring for your product
To ensure this coverall continues to provide maximum protection, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. A domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C is recommended; using higher temperatures may eventually degrade the synthetic fibres and the reflective tape's performance.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Chlorine and other bleaching agents can chemically damage the inherent flame-resistant fibres and will certainly dull the high-visibility colour, compromising your safety on site.
Tumble drying should be kept to a low heat setting. High heat can lead to excessive shrinkage and damage the elastic properties of the stretch panels. When ironing, do not exceed 110°C to avoid damaging the fabric or any custom prints and logos.
Finally, avoid dry cleaning. The chemicals used in dry cleaning processes can leave residues that may interfere with the flame-resistant properties or damage the specialised fibre blend.
