Product Overview
The PW3 Lightweight Stretch Trousers represent a significant advancement in workwear design, focusing on the needs of the modern tradesperson who requires both agility and resilience. Constructed from high-performing two-way stretch fabric, these trousers are designed to move with the wearer rather than against them, eliminating the restriction often found in traditional work trousers. This lightweight garment does not sacrifice strength for comfort, integrating strategic reinforcements and robust construction methods to ensure longevity in demanding environments.
Key Features
- Two-Way Stretch Fabric: The Titanmill Plus Stretch material allows for a maximum range of movement, ensuring comfort during repetitive tasks like kneeling or climbing.
- Top-Loading Kneepad Pockets: These allow for the easy insertion of protective pads, securing them in the correct position to protect the wearer while kneeling on hard surfaces.
- Multi-Way Thigh Pocket: Provides secure and accessible storage for essential tools, keys, and mobile devices, keeping them close at hand throughout the working day.
- Triple-Stitched Seams: Reinforced stitching throughout the garment prevents seam failure, significantly extending the life of the trousers under heavy use.
- Adjustable Leg Length: A versatile design feature that allows the wearer to customise the fit to their specific height requirements.
Design & Performance
Performance is at the heart of the PW304. The primary fabric is Titanmill Plus Stretch, a blend of polyester, cotton, and elastane that provides a soft feel with technical flexibility. To combat wear and tear in high-stress areas, the trousers feature 600D Oxford fabric reinforcements. This material is exceptionally tough and has been treated with a polyurethane (PU) coating, making it both durable and resistant to water and stains. This ensures that while the trousers are lightweight and breathable, they remain capable of withstanding the rigours of a busy site or workshop.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
At MyWorkwear, we understand that a professional appearance is vital for business growth. These trousers are suitable for both print and embroidery, handled by our expert in-house team in Telford, a facility with heritage stretching back to 1976. For a formal, long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names on the pockets or upper thigh. For larger, high-impact branding, our printing services provide a bold and clear finish that ensures your team stands out. Our technical team ensures every application maintains the integrity of the stretch fabric.
Use Cases
These trousers are an ideal choice for tradespeople operating in the construction, maintenance, and logistics sectors. They are particularly effective for professionals who spend a significant amount of time on the move or in awkward positions, such as electricians, plumbers, and fitters. The sleek black design and technical features also make them suitable for supervisors and site managers who require a professional look without losing practical functionality.

Practical Advice
For the best fit, take advantage of the adjustable leg length to ensure the kneepad pockets sit exactly where you need them. If you are working in environments that require added safety, these trousers are certified to EN 14404 standards when used in combination with S156 kneepads. The lightweight nature of the fabric makes them excellent for year-round use, easily paired with thermal base layers in colder months or worn alone for breathability in the summer.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and stretch characteristics of your trousers, a regular domestic wash at a maximum of 60°C is recommended. This temperature is sufficient to remove heavy dirt and oils without damaging the elastane fibres that provide the garment's flexibility.
You must avoid using bleach during the laundering process. Bleaching agents will weaken the fabric structure and cause premature fading of the black finish, as well as damaging any custom branding applied to the garment.
Tumble drying is permitted on a normal cycle, but for the best results and to reduce energy consumption, we suggest drip line drying. This helps the trousers retain their shape and minimises the need for heavy ironing.
If ironing is necessary, use a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C. Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fibres and the PU coating on the reinforced panels. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemical solvents used in the process can degrade the technical coatings and fabric elasticity.
