Product Overview
The DX4 Work Trousers are a masterclass in ergonomic design, specifically engineered for professionals who require a full range of motion without sacrificing durability. These trousers utilise a sophisticated 4-way stretch fabric system that adapts to your body's movements, whether you are climbing ladders, kneeling, or working in confined spaces. The inclusion of a high-rise back waistband ensures that you remain covered and protected in all working positions, while the integrated elastication provides a comfortable, secure fit throughout the day.
Key Features
- Dynamic 4X Stretch Fabric: The use of Titanmill Pro Stretch fabric allows for maximum flexibility, ensuring the garment moves with you rather than resisting your movements.
- Pre-bent Top Loading Knee Pad Pockets: These adjustable pockets are designed to keep knee protection securely in place, protecting your joints during prolonged periods of floor work.
- Triple Stitched Seams: Reinforced stitching across all major stress points significantly increases the lifespan of the garment, preventing premature wear and tear in demanding environments.
- Multi-functional Storage: Generously sized front pockets and dedicated zip thigh pockets provide secure storage for essential items such as mobile phones, pens, and tools.
- High-Rise Back Waistband: The extended rear waistband offers extra coverage, preventing gaps when bending or stretching.
Design & Performance
The performance of the DX4 Work Trousers is rooted in its technical fabric composition. The primary shell is crafted from a mid-weight Titanmill Pro Stretch polyester and elastane blend, which provides the necessary flexibility for active work. To further enhance durability, the design incorporates Titanmill Plus Ripstop contrast panels, providing high-tensile strength in areas prone to abrasion.
Comfort is balanced with utility; the side elastication on the waistband allows the trousers to sit correctly regardless of movement. The triple stitching is not merely a design choice but a structural necessity, ensuring these trousers can withstand the rigours of a busy workshop or construction site over the long term.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
To ensure your team presents a unified and professional image, these trousers are suitable for both print and embroidery. Our Telford-based facility, which has been operating since 1976, handles all customisation in-house with meticulous attention to detail.
For a formal, long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names. The durable weave of the fabric provides a stable foundation for high-quality thread work. Alternatively, for large-scale branding or bold graphics, our print services offer a sharp and vibrant finish that remains highly visible on the job.
Use Cases
The DX4 Work Trousers are an ideal choice for tradespeople across the construction, plumbing, and electrical sectors who require high-performance apparel. Their technical construction also makes them suitable for maintenance engineers and warehouse professionals who need reliable trousers that facilitate constant movement and provide ample tool storage.

Practical Advice
These trousers are designed with a standard fit in mind. For those working in colder environments, the flexible fabric accommodates thermal base layers comfortably without restricting movement. We recommend ensuring that knee pads are correctly adjusted within the pockets to provide optimal protection based on your height.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and technical stretch properties of your DX4 Work Trousers, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C on a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures may degrade the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of shape over time.
Avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will damage the polyester-cotton fibres and cause significant discolouration. To dry, you may use a tumble dryer on a normal setting or choose to drip line dry the garment. Line drying is particularly effective for maintaining the ripstop finish.
Please note that these trousers should not be ironed. High heat from an iron can damage the synthetic stretch materials and the protective coatings. Furthermore, do not dry clean this garment, as the solvents used in the process can interfere with the fabric's technical performance.
