Product Overview
The PW3 Hi-Vis Women's Stretch Work Trousers are an expertly engineered solution for professionals who require both high-visibility safety and unhindered movement. Designed specifically for the female form, these trousers move away from the restrictive nature of traditional workwear by utilising a high-performance two-way stretch fabric. This ensures that whether you are climbing ladders, kneeling, or navigating a busy site, the garment works with you rather than against you.
Key Features
- Titanmill Plus Stretch Fabric: A sophisticated blend of polyester, cotton, and elastane that provides a superior range of motion while maintaining a professional appearance.
- HiVisTex Pro Reflective Tape: Segmented tape design that allows for increased flexibility compared to solid bands, ensuring you remain visible without compromising the stretch of the trousers.
- Top-Loading Kneepad Pockets: Designed for easy insertion and removal of knee protection, essential for those spending extended periods working at ground level.
- Multi-way Thigh Pocket: Provides secure and organised storage for essential items such as smartphones, keys, and tools, keeping them accessible but out of the way.
- Triple-Stitched Seams: Reinforced stitching throughout the garment significantly reduces the risk of seam failure, extending the service life of the trousers in demanding environments.
- 600D Oxford Fabric Reinforcements: Strategically placed at key abrasion points to prevent premature wear and tear in high-stress areas.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a medium-weight Titanmill Plus Stretch fabric, these trousers offer a balanced feel that is substantial enough for protection yet breathable enough for all-day comfort. The inclusion of elastane provides that vital two-way stretch, while the high polyester content ensures the vibrant orange colour remains sharp and visible over time.
Performance is further enhanced by the 600D Oxford contrast fabric. This heavy-duty material is PU coated, making it exceptionally resistant to tears and abrasions. It also features a water and stain-repellent finish, which is particularly useful for maintaining a clean, professional look when working in less-than-ideal conditions.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
For a truly professional appearance, we recommend our embroidery service for adding your company logo or staff names. Embroidery is particularly effective on the durable fabric of these trousers, offering a long-lasting and premium finish that handles repeated industrial laundering with ease.
If you require larger, more prominent branding, our high-quality printing process is an excellent alternative. All customisation is performed by our skilled in-house team at our Telford facility. With MyWorkwear having been established in 1976, you can trust our expertise to deliver branding that complements the high standard of the Portwest PW3 range.
Use Cases
These trousers are ideal for women working in construction, logistics, site management, and any industry where high-visibility clothing is a mandatory safety requirement. The combination of the feminine fit and the stretch fabric makes them particularly suitable for active roles where standard unisex trousers often prove uncomfortable or impractical.
Why MyWorkwear
Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a company that has been at the forefront of the industry since 1976. Based in Telford, we combine decades of technical knowledge with modern customisation techniques to ensure your workwear is not only fit for purpose but also serves as a high-quality representation of your business.
Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the layers you may need to wear underneath during colder months. The stretch fabric is forgiving, but for the best functional fit, we recommend checking our sizing guide against your specific measurements. If you frequently use kneepads, ensure they are compatible with top-loading pocket designs for the most secure fit.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility standards and the mechanical stretch of the fabric, it is essential to follow the recommended care routine. A mild process wash at a maximum of 40°C is recommended; higher temperatures can degrade the elastane fibres and the adhesive bond of the reflective tape.
Avoid the use of bleach at all costs. Bleaching agents will destroy the high-visibility orange dye and weaken the structural integrity of the polyester-cotton blend. Drip drying in the shade is the preferred method to preserve the PU coating on the reinforced sections, although a normal tumble dry setting is permissible if necessary.
If ironing is required, ensure the temperature does not exceed 150°C and avoid direct contact with the reflective tape. Do not dry clean these trousers, as the chemicals used can strip the protective finishes from the fabric. Finally, be aware that this garment is rated for a maximum of 25 washes to ensure it continues to meet safety visibility standards.
