Product Overview
The PW3 Hi-Vis Winter Trousers are a high-performance solution for professionals working in demanding environments where temperature and visibility are equally critical. Engineered as a premium insulated garment, these trousers feature a sophisticated convertible design, allowing the wearer to remove the bib completely via a zip-off function at the back. This versatility ensures the garment adapts to varying working conditions while maintaining the signature PW3 aesthetic and functionality.

Design & Performance
Constructed from a robust 300D Oxford polyester fabric, the outer shell is built to withstand the rigours of a busy worksite. The fabric is treated with a stain-resistant finish to keep the garment looking professional for longer, while the double PU coating provides a reliable barrier against moisture. Inside, the trousers are lined and filled with 100% polyester insulation, offering significant warmth. This results in a substantial, sturdy garment that provides thermal protection without compromising the wearer's range of motion.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
To ensure your team presents a professional appearance, these trousers are fully compatible with both print and embroidery. Embroidery is particularly effective for company logos or staff names, offering a durable and high-quality finish that withstands repeated laundering. For larger or more vibrant branding, our printing services provide high-impact results. All customisation is handled in-house at our Telford facility by an expert team that has been perfecting these processes since 1976.
Use Cases
Given the Orange and Black colourway and the insulated properties, these trousers are ideally suited for construction, rail, and infrastructure workers operating in cold, outdoor environments. They are particularly beneficial for those working in low-light conditions or through the winter months when thermal regulation and high visibility are paramount for safety.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the layers you typically wear underneath in winter. The bib design is particularly effective at preventing draughts around the lower back, so we recommend using the bib function during stationary tasks in extreme cold. The detachable holster pockets are a significant advantage for those using various tools throughout the day, as they can be swapped or removed as the task dictates.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility properties and the waterproof integrity of these trousers, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. A mild domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C is recommended to remove dirt without damaging the PU coating. Please note that the garment is rated for a maximum of 50 washes to ensure the reflective materials continue to meet safety standards.
Bleaching must be avoided at all costs, as it will destroy the fluorescent pigments and damage the reflective tape, rendering the garment unsafe for high-visibility use. Similarly, do not tumble dry these trousers; instead, they should be drip line dried to maintain their shape and the performance of the synthetic insulation.
Ironing is not permitted, as the heat can melt the polyester shell and the waterproof backing. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemicals used in the process can degrade the technical fabrics. Consistent and careful maintenance ensures your safety equipment remains effective for its intended lifespan.
