Product Overview
The Insulated Fleece Glove is a vital addition to any professional’s cold-weather wardrobe, designed to provide substantial warmth without the restrictive bulk often associated with winter handwear. Crafted from a high-quality polyester fleece with an anti-pill finish, these gloves are built to withstand the rigours of daily use while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. The inclusion of an Insulatex lining ensures that heat is trapped efficiently, offering superior thermal protection during long shifts in plummeting temperatures.
Key Features
- Insulatex Thermal Lining: This specialised internal layer provides exceptional heat retention and protection against the cold, ensuring your hands remain functional in harsh conditions.
- Anti-Pill Fleece Fabric: The exterior is treated to resist bobbling, meaning the gloves stay looking professional and maintain their integrity even after repeated wear and washing.
- Integrated Gripper Pads: These pads are strategically placed to enhance your hold on tools and equipment, reducing the risk of slips in damp or icy environments.
- Low Bulk Design: By keeping the profile slim, these gloves allow for excellent manual dexterity, so you won't need to remove them for tasks requiring a finer touch.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% polyester, the outer fleece is soft to the touch yet incredibly durable. The anti-pill finish is a critical detail for workwear; it prevents the surface fibres from knotting together, which otherwise would make the gloves look prematurely aged. Inside, the Insulatex lining provides a luxurious feel against the skin while acting as a high-performance thermal barrier.
The performance of these gloves hinges on their ability to balance insulation with movement. Many insulated gloves are too thick for technical work, but the GL12 model manages to keep the hands warm while allowing the wearer to operate machinery or handle small components with ease. The black colourway ensures they complement almost any corporate uniform or high-visibility ensemble.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation on this specific product due to the technical nature of the materials and the intended use. Embroidery or heat-sealing logos onto a glove of this size can compromise the integrity of the Insulatex lining, creating 'cold spots' where the insulation is pierced or flattened. Furthermore, the presence of gripper pads and the small, flexible surface area make it difficult to achieve the high standard of branding that we demand for our customers. These are best used as a practical, unbranded accessory to your core workwear set.
Use Cases
These gloves are ideally suited for outdoor tradespeople, delivery drivers, and warehouse operatives working in cold-storage environments. They are also a sensible choice for site managers who frequently move between heated offices and exposed construction sites, providing quick and effective protection against the elements.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, ensure a snug fit to maximise the effectiveness of the Insulatex lining. A glove that is too loose will allow warm air to escape and reduce your dexterity. If you are working in exceptionally wet conditions, consider layering these under a waterproof outer shell, as fleece is designed for thermal insulation rather than total water resistance.
Caring for your product
To maintain the thermal performance and appearance of your gloves, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High temperatures can damage the polyester fibres and cause the Insulatex lining to lose its loft, which would reduce the glove's insulating properties.
Do not use bleach, as this will break down the synthetic fibres and ruin the anti-pill finish. We also advise against tumble drying; instead, allow them to air dry naturally. Tumble drying can cause shrinkage and may damage the gripper pads. Finally, do not iron or dry clean these gloves, as the intense heat and chemicals will compromise the fabric structure and its ability to keep you warm.
