Practical Advice
As a 4XL garment with a long-length design, it is important to ensure that the breakaway points are not obstructed by heavy jackets or tool belts. This vest should be worn as the outermost layer to ensure the 4-point breakaway system can function correctly in an emergency.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and the technical integrity of the breakaway points, it is essential to follow the recommended care guidelines. Proper maintenance ensures the garment continues to meet safety standards throughout its service life.
We recommend a mild domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Using higher temperatures or harsh cycles may degrade the polyester fibres and the reflective properties of the garment. Do not use bleach, as this will chemically damage the fluorescent orange dye, significantly reducing its visibility.
This garment should be line dried only. Tumble drying should be avoided, as the heat can cause the reflective tape to crack or lose its adhesive properties. Similarly, do not iron the vest, as direct heat can melt the synthetic warp knit fabric.
Please note that this garment is rated for a maximum of 50 washes. Beyond this point, the visibility and safety characteristics may no longer meet the required technical standards, and the garment should be replaced to ensure continued protection.
