Product Overview

The Hi-Vis Contrast Winter Bomber Jacket is a robust and dependable piece of outerwear designed to provide thermal protection and high-visibility safety in demanding outdoor environments. This fully certified jacket combines a traditional bomber silhouette with modern technical fabrics, ensuring that the wearer remains warm and dry without compromising on the professional standards required by modern industry.

Key Features

  • Waterproof Taped Seams: Every seam is meticulously taped to prevent water ingress, ensuring the wearer remains entirely dry even during prolonged exposure to heavy rain.
  • Quilted Interior Lining: The internal quilting provides superior heat retention, making this jacket an essential garment for maintaining productivity during the winter months.
  • Stain-Resistant Finish: The high-quality 300D Oxford fabric is treated to repel dirt and grime, which is vital for maintaining the brightness of the high-visibility orange and navy contrast.
  • Double PU Coated Fabric: This coating provides an additional layer of protection against the elements, significantly increasing the jacket's water resistance and overall durability.

Design & Performance

Engineering for performance is at the heart of this jacket's construction. The shell is made from 300D Oxford polyester, a substantial and hard-wearing fabric that offers excellent resistance to tears and abrasions. The two-tone design is not merely aesthetic; the navy panels are strategically placed in areas most prone to collecting dirt—such as the cuffs and hem—ensuring the jacket maintains a clean, professional appearance for longer between washes. Internally, the 100% polyester filling provides a reliable thermal barrier, while the lightweight lining ensures the garment remains comfortable during physical activity.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This jacket is highly versatile regarding customisation, accommodating both print and embroidery with ease. For businesses seeking a distinguished and authoritative finish, embroidery is the recommended choice for company logos and employee names on the chest area. This method offers a three-dimensional, high-quality look that withstands the rigours of daily site work. Alternatively, large-scale printing is available for those who require bold, high-contrast branding on the back of the jacket. Our in-house production team in Telford has been providing expert customisation services since 1976, ensuring that your branding is applied with precision and longevity in mind.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideally suited for professionals working in construction, logistics, road maintenance, and any outdoor sector where low temperatures and poor visibility are constant factors. Its sturdy construction makes it a staple for site managers and tradespeople who require dependable protection throughout the working day.

Practical Advice

Given the insulated nature of this bomber jacket, we recommend selecting your usual size for a comfortable fit over standard work shirts or base layers. If you intend to wear substantial heavy-weight sweatshirts or fleeces underneath, you may wish to consider one size larger to ensure full range of motion while working.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and safety certifications of this garment, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using aggressive cycles can degrade the PU coating and reduce the effectiveness of the waterproof finish.

Bleaching must be avoided at all costs, as the chemicals will compromise the fluorescent dyes and damage the integrity of the high-visibility materials. For drying, the jacket should be drip-line dried. Tumble drying is not recommended, as excessive heat can damage the reflective tape and the synthetic shell fabric.

Do not iron or dry clean this jacket, as the heat and solvents used in these processes will melt the waterproof coating and the internal padding. Please be aware that this garment has a maximum service life of 50 washes; exceeding this limit may result in the reflective materials falling below the required safety standards.
