Product Overview
The Hi-Vis Contrast Class 1 Service Trousers are a well-engineered solution for professionals who require a balance of high-visibility safety and practical durability. Designed with a sophisticated Orange and Navy colourway, these trousers are built to maintain a clean appearance even in demanding environments. The combat-style construction offers both functionality and a modern fit, ensuring you look the part while remaining compliant with site safety requirements.
Key Features
- Certified Class 1 high-visibility protection ensures you are seen in low-light conditions, providing essential safety for service and transport roles.
- Constructed from Kingsmill Polycotton, a medium-weight fabric that combines the breathability of cotton with the hard-wearing resilience of polyester.
- The predominantly Navy colourway is strategically placed to mask dirt and grease, helping your uniform look professional for longer between washes.
- Pre-shrunk fabric ensures that the trousers retain their size and shape, preventing the frustration of garments that no longer fit after the first laundry cycle.
- Superior dye retention properties mean the vibrant orange and deep navy remain sharp and professional, even after repeated use.
Design & Performance
Performance is at the core of these service trousers. The Kingsmill fabric blend (65% Polyester, 35% Cotton) is chosen for its ability to withstand the rigours of a busy working day without sacrificing wearer comfort. The fabric feels substantial yet allows for a full range of movement, which is vital for service technicians and warehouse operatives who are constantly on the move.
The design features multiple pockets that provide ample storage for essential tools and personal items, typical of a high-quality combat trouser. By choosing a medium-weight material, we ensure the trousers are robust enough to resist abrasions while remaining comfortable enough for year-round wear.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
These trousers are an excellent canvas for your company branding. For a superior, professional finish, we recommend embroidery for your business logo or staff names. Embroidery is particularly suited to the durable Kingsmill fabric, offering a long-lasting and high-quality look that can withstand industrial environments. If you require larger branding or safety messaging, our high-quality print service provides a bold and vibrant alternative that ensures your brand is clearly visible.
All customisation is handled in-house at our Telford facility. With MyWorkwear having been established in 1976, our expert team has the technical knowledge to ensure your branding is applied with precision and care.
Use Cases
These trousers are ideally suited for environments where Class 1 visibility is sufficient, such as indoor warehousing, delivery services, and general maintenance. They are the perfect choice for professionals who need the utility of combat trousers but work in areas where they must remain easily identifiable to colleagues and vehicle operators.

Practical Advice
We recommend selecting your usual trouser size, as the pre-shrunk Kingsmill fabric is designed to maintain its dimensions. For those working in varied conditions, these trousers pair well with thermal base layers during colder months, and the polycotton blend ensures they remain breathable when the pace of work picks up.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and safety certifications of these trousers, it is essential to follow the care instructions correctly. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the fabric structure and cause the high-visibility elements to degrade prematurely.
Do not use bleach, as this will strip the dye and destroy the reflective properties of the garment, rendering it unsafe for use in restricted areas. To preserve the integrity of the polyester fibres, do not tumble dry; instead, use a drip line dry method which allows the trousers to dry naturally without heat damage.
Avoid ironing and dry cleaning, as the high heat and chemicals used in these processes can negatively affect the technical properties of the Kingsmill material. Finally, please be aware that this garment is certified for a maximum of 50 washes. Beyond this point, the high-visibility performance may no longer meet the required safety standards, and the garment should be replaced to ensure continued protection.
