Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility properties and the integrity of the fabric, it is vital to follow the care instructions provided. Proper maintenance ensures the garment continues to meet safety standards and remains comfortable to wear.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the PVC coating and the internal fleece fibres, reducing the garment's lifespan and thermal efficiency.
Do not use bleach on this garment, as harsh chemicals will degrade the fluorescent pigments and reflective tape, compromising your safety on site. For the same reason, this jacket should not be dry cleaned.
After washing, the jacket should be drip-line dried. Do not tumble dry, as the high heat of a machine dryer can warp the shell fabric and damage the reflective elements. Additionally, do not iron this jacket; the heat will melt the PVC coating and synthetic fibres.
Please note that this garment has been tested for a maximum of 25 washes. Beyond this point, the effectiveness of the high-visibility materials may diminish, and the garment should be inspected to ensure it still meets the required safety standards for your workplace.
