Product Overview
The EV4 Winter Parka Jacket is a high-specification outerwear solution designed for those who refuse to let the British winter dictate their work schedule. Combining Portwest Extreme Waterproof technology with highly insulating materials, this parka provides an uncompromising barrier against cold and wet conditions. Unlike standard heavy jackets that can feel restrictive, the EV4 focuses on dynamic movement through its stretch fabric and ergonomic tailoring, ensuring that you remain warm without sacrificing agility on-site.
Key Features
Portwest Extreme Waterproof Fabric: The polyester stretch shell with a PU membrane offers superior protection against heavy rain while remaining flexible enough for active work.
InsulatexPro Filling: This high-performance polyester insulation traps heat efficiently, maintaining warmth in freezing temperatures without adding unnecessary bulk.
Ergonomic Design: Specifically engineered to follow the natural movement of the body, reducing resistance when reaching or bending.
Extended Back Length: The drop-tail design ensures your lower back remains covered and protected from draughts, even when leaning forward.
Adjustable Hood and Wind Cuffs: These features allow for a customisable fit that seals out biting winds and moisture at the most vulnerable entry points.
Design & Performance
This jacket is built for durability and comfort in demanding environments. The shell is constructed from a medium-weight stretch polyester, which provides the sturdiness required for daily wear while allowing for the flexibility needed during physical tasks. The PU membrane acts as a sophisticated moisture barrier, ensuring you stay dry in torrential conditions.
Internally, the InsulatexPro filling provides a substantial thermal layer. When combined with the smooth polyester lining, the jacket slides easily over base and mid-layers, preventing the friction often associated with winter workwear. The overall weight is substantial enough to feel protective and secure without weighing the wearer down during long shifts.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The EV4 Winter Parka Jacket is an excellent canvas for representing your business. For a truly professional and long-lasting appearance, we recommend embroidery for your primary company logo or staff names. The durable stretch shell handles high-stitch counts exceptionally well, providing a textured finish that withstands the elements.
Alternatively, if you require high-impact, larger branding across the back, our heat-applied print processes are an ideal choice. Our in-house team in Telford, established since 1976, utilises advanced machinery to ensure your branding remains sharp and professional. Whether you choose the traditional feel of embroidery or the bold clarity of print, we handle every stage of the process to ensure your team maintains a superior finish.
Use Cases
This parka is ideally suited for outdoor professionals in construction, site management, and logistics who operate in exposed environments. It is equally valuable for security personnel or supervisors who require a professional appearance combined with high-level thermal protection during static duties in cold weather.

Practical Advice
The ergonomic fit of this jacket is designed to accommodate standard work layers. If you typically wear a heavy fleece or multiple layers beneath your parka, you may wish to consider a larger size to maintain full range of motion. The adjustable hood should be tensioned to ensure it moves with your head, preventing obscured vision during site work.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the technical performance of your EV4 Winter Parka is essential for ensuring long-term protection. We recommend a mild process machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Using higher temperatures or harsh cycles can damage the PU membrane and degrade the waterproof properties of the shell.
Do not use bleach, as this will compromise the fabric integrity and may fade the colour of the jacket and your custom branding. After washing, the jacket should be drip-line dried. Never use a tumble dryer, as the intense heat can warp the synthetic fibres and cause the waterproof membrane to delaminate.
The jacket should not be ironed. The heat from an iron can melt the polyester shell and damage the InsulatexPro filling. Similarly, dry cleaning should be avoided, as the chemicals used in the process can strip away the specialised coatings that provide the jacket's weather resistance.
