Product Overview
The ES1 Essential Hi-Vis Contrast Executive Vest is a refined alternative to the standard high-visibility waistcoat, offering increased functionality and a professional aesthetic for those in supervisory or active trade roles. Designed in a striking orange and navy two-tone colourway, this vest ensures you remain conspicuous on-site while maintaining a clean, organised appearance. The addition of the navy contrast panel at the base is a deliberate design choice to mask dirt and grease in high-contact areas, extending the garment's visual lifespan between washes.
Key Features
- Multiple practical pockets provide dedicated storage for essential tools and personal items, ensuring you have everything you need within reach without the need for an external tool belt.
- A dual ID holder allows for the clear and secure display of identification cards, which is essential for maintaining security and following site access protocols.
- The integrated d-ring offers a secure attachment point for keys or small tools, preventing accidental loss in busy environments.
- A dedicated radio loop ensures your communication equipment is securely positioned and easily accessible, facilitating seamless coordination during shifts.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a lightweight 100% polyester warp knit fabric, this vest is engineered for breathability and comfort during long working hours. The warp knit construction provides a stable structure that resists snagging and maintains its shape even when the pockets are fully utilised. The orange upper section is designed for maximum visibility, while the navy contrast adds a layer of practical durability for tradespeople working in environments prone to staining. This combination ensures the vest remains a reliable part of your professional attire through rigorous daily use.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This executive vest serves as an excellent canvas for your corporate identity. For a superior, long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and individual names, providing a textured and professional appearance that withstands regular laundering. Alternatively, heat-seal printing is ideal for larger, bold designs that require sharp definition across the back or chest. Our experienced in-house team at our Telford facility has been perfecting these customisation techniques since 1976, ensuring your branding is applied with precision and expertise.
Use Cases
Given its high-visibility status and functional storage, this vest is particularly suited for professionals in construction, tree surgery, and electrical work. It is equally effective for plumbers, mechanics, and security personnel who require a reliable garment that combines safety compliance with the utility of a tool vest. It is an ideal choice for site managers who need to be easily identified while carrying essential documentation and communication devices.

Practical Advice
This vest is designed with a regular fit to be worn over standard work shirts or lightweight sweatshirts. If you intend to wear it over bulkier outerwear, such as a fleece or a heavy winter jacket, we recommend selecting a larger size to ensure full range of movement and comfort throughout the working day.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and structural integrity of this vest, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the reflective tape and degrade the polyester fibres over time, reducing the garment's effectiveness.
Bleaching agents must be avoided, as they will compromise the colour intensity of the orange fabric and may damage the reflective properties required for safety standards. Maintaining the correct colour contrast is vital for site compliance.
The garment should be line dried rather than tumble dried. Excessive heat from a tumble dryer can cause the fabric to shrink and may distort any custom embroidery or print applied to the vest. Similarly, this garment should not be ironed, as direct heat can melt the synthetic fibres or damage the branding and reflective elements.
Please note that this vest is rated for a maximum of 50 washes. Beyond this point, the reflective materials may no longer meet the required safety standards, and we recommend replacing the garment to ensure continued protection and compliance on-site.
