When selecting your size, consider what you will be wearing beneath the vest. If you intend to wear it over a heavy winter parka, you may find that selecting a size larger than your standard fit provides better comfort and mobility. The vest's lightweight nature makes it an excellent top layer that can be easily folded and stored when not in use without taking up significant space in a kit bag.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and structural integrity of your vest, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can degrade the reflective properties of the tape and the vibrancy of the fluorescent fabric, eventually reducing the garment's safety rating.
Do not use bleach when cleaning this garment. Bleaching agents will cause immediate damage to the polyester fibres and will strip the high-visibility pigments, rendering the vest unsafe for site use. This garment should not be tumble dried; instead, it should be line dried to prevent heat damage to the internal structure of the fabric.
Ironing should be avoided entirely, as the heat from a domestic iron can melt the polyester warp knit and damage the reflective tape. Similarly, do not dry clean this vest. Please note that this garment has been tested for a maximum of 50 washes; beyond this point, the high-visibility properties may no longer meet the EN ISO 20471 standard, and the garment should be replaced to ensure continued safety.
