Caring for your product
To maintain the technical properties of the 4X stretch and ripstop fabrics, it is vital to follow the care instructions precisely. Maintaining the elasticity of the fibres is key to the garment's performance over time.
We recommend a mild domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Using a mild process helps to preserve the synthetic fibres and prevents premature breakdown of the elastane components, which could lead to the trousers losing their shape.
Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleach is a harsh chemical that will weaken the polyester and nylon fibres, significantly reducing the tear resistance of the ripstop panels and causing discolouration. Similarly, dry cleaning should be avoided as the solvents used can damage the specialised fabric finishes.
Drip line drying is the preferred method for this garment. Do not tumble dry, as the intense heat of a dryer can cause the elasticated elements to become brittle and snap, ruining the stretch performance. Finally, do not iron these trousers; the synthetic material composition is sensitive to direct heat, which can lead to melting or permanent damage to the fabric surface.
