Caring for your product
To ensure the longevity and continued performance of the flame-resistant properties, it is essential to follow the recommended care instructions. We advise a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using aggressive cycles can lead to premature fabric degradation and may affect the garment's protective qualities.
Do not use bleach when laundering this jacket. Bleach is a harsh chemical that can break down the cotton fibres and compromise the integrity of the flame-resistant treatment, leaving the wearer at risk.
The jacket should be line dried rather than tumble dried. High heat from a tumble dryer can cause the 100% cotton fabric to shrink, which will alter the fit and potentially expose the wearer's wrists or midriff during work. Line drying ensures the garment retains its shape and size.
If ironing is required to maintain a professional appearance, use a maximum iron temperature of 150°C. Excessive heat from an iron can damage the technical finish of the fabric.
