Product Overview

The Bizflame Work+ FR Coverall is a sophisticated piece of industrial safety equipment, specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of the petrochemical sector. It serves as a comprehensive barrier against a multitude of site hazards, including flame, radiant heat, iron splash, and chemical exposure. This coverall is not merely a garment but a critical component of a professional safety strategy, offering protection against electric arc and anti-static risks while maintaining a professional appearance.

Key Features

  • Multi-hazard protection ensures the wearer is shielded against flame, heat, iron splash, and chemicals, providing essential safety in high-risk environments.
  • Integrated anti-static properties and electric arc protection safeguard personnel working around sensitive electronics or volatile substances.
  • A high collar design provides extended coverage to the neck area, protecting against accidental exposure to heat or sparks.
  • Studded flaps on every pocket secure essential tools and personal items while preventing the ingress of hazardous materials.

Design & Performance

The performance of this coverall is rooted in the Bizflame Work+ fabric. Comprising 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre, the material offers the natural breathability and comfort of cotton with the technical necessity of static dissipation. The chemical finish enhances its protective capabilities without compromising the wearer's mobility.

Constructed as a substantial, sturdy garment, it is designed to withstand the physical stresses of industrial labour. The blend of natural fibres ensures that even during long shifts, the fabric remains comfortable against the skin, while the carbon fibre grid works silently to manage static build-up. This heavy-duty construction ensures longevity even in the most demanding settings.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

Maintaining a cohesive brand identity is essential, even in hazardous environments. This coverall is suitable for both print and embroidery customisation. For a permanent, professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names, which provides a high-quality finish that stands up well to industrial laundering.

If your branding requires larger, high-visibility graphics, our technical printing processes ensure bold designs remain clear. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility, drawing on expertise dating back to 1976 to ensure your safety wear looks as professional as the service you provide.

Use Cases

This coverall is the primary choice for professionals in the petrochemical and chemical processing industries. It is equally suited for welding, fabrication, and any environment where there is a credible risk of heat, flame, or static discharge. The generous 4XL sizing ensures a comfortable fit for larger frames or those requiring significant layering underneath.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear beneath the coverall. As a substantial garment designed for protection, ensure you have sufficient room for movement, particularly across the shoulders and back. In colder environments, the breathable cotton-rich fabric pairs well with thermal base layers without compromising the anti-static properties.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the flame-resistant chemical finish and the life of the garment, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Using a normal process ensures that industrial contaminants are removed while preserving the protective qualities of the fabric.

It is imperative that you do not use bleach, as this will degrade the technical fibres and compromise the flame-resistant properties, potentially putting the wearer at risk. Similarly, the garment should not be tumble dried; air drying is recommended to prevent shrinkage and maintain the structural shape of the coverall.

If ironing is required, please ensure the temperature does not exceed 150°C to avoid damaging the carbon fibres or the chemical treatment. Do not dry clean this garment, as the chemicals used in that process can interfere with the protective finish and reduce the effectiveness of the anti-static properties.
