Product Overview
The BizTex Microcool Coverall (Type 5/6) is a sophisticated protective garment engineered to offer a superior balance between hazardous particulate protection and wearer comfort. Supplied in a pack of 50, these white coveralls are designed for environments where liquid splashes and dry particles pose a risk. By utilizing a dual-fabric construction, this garment ensures that safety does not come at the expense of breathability, making it suitable for demanding professional applications.
Key Features
- Type 5 and 6 protection provides a reliable barrier against hazardous dust and solid particles, as well as minor liquid splashes, ensuring safety in volatile environments.
- An integrated breathable comfort panel runs from the neck down to the knees, significantly increasing airflow and preventing the build-up of heat during long shifts.
- The fabric is inherently lint-free, which is essential for preventing contamination in sensitive workspaces such as cleanrooms or automotive paint shops.
- An anti-static coating is applied to the material to manage electrostatic build-up, reducing the risk of discharge in environments where this could be hazardous.
Design & Performance
The core of this garment is the BizTex Micro fabric, which consists of a polypropylene substrate bonded to a polyethylene film. This well-engineered material prevents liquid molecules from penetrating the outer layer while allowing vapour molecules to escape from the inside. This ensures the wearer remains fresh and comfortable without compromising the chemical barrier.
To further enhance performance, BizTex SMS fabric is used for the comfort panels. While the garment remains lightweight for ease of movement, it is robust enough to provide excellent abrasion and tear resistance. The design focus is clearly on maintaining a professional level of protection while addressing the physiological needs of the worker in high-pressure situations.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
Identifying your team and maintaining a professional appearance is straightforward with our customisation services. This coverall is suitable for both print and embroidery. Embroidery is the preferred choice for adding professional company logos or staff names with a high-quality, textured finish. For larger, more prominent branding or identification numbers, our high-definition printing is an excellent alternative.
Every customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford. MyWorkwear has been refining these processes since 1976, ensuring that your branding is applied with precision without compromising the integrity of your protective equipment.
Use Cases
This garment is specifically designed for professionals involved in chemical handling, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and asbestos removal. It is also an essential choice for automotive painting and industrial maintenance where the prevention of lint contamination is as critical as the protection of the worker.

Practical Advice
These coveralls are sized to be worn over standard work clothing. However, if your staff are wearing bulkier layers underneath, such as thermal fleeces, we recommend considering a larger size to ensure that mobility is not restricted. Always ensure the zip is fully closed and the storm flap is secure to maintain the rated protection levels.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the performance of technical protective wear requires strict adherence to care guidelines, as incorrect handling can nullify the garment's safety ratings.
This product must not be washed. Laundering the coverall will cause the polyethylene film to separate from the substrate and degrade the chemical barrier, leaving the wearer exposed to hazards.
Do not bleach, iron, or tumble dry this garment. The heat from an iron or dryer will melt the polypropylene components, while bleach will destroy the anti-static properties and weaken the structural integrity of the seams.
Dry cleaning is strictly prohibited. The solvents used in dry cleaning processes are designed to break down oils and chemicals, which will effectively dissolve the protective layers of the BizTex fabric. These coveralls should be treated as limited-life equipment and replaced once contaminated.
