Product Overview

The Bizflame Work Two Tone FR Trousers are a robust addition to any safety-critical uniform, specifically engineered to provide flame resistance without compromising on practical utility. These trousers are constructed from a specialised fabric comprising 99% cotton for wearer comfort and 1% carbon fibre to provide essential anti-static properties. As a core component of the Flame Resistant Multi-Norm range, they are designed for environments where both visibility and protection from heat or flame are paramount for site safety.

Key Features
  • Double-stitched high-visibility reflective tape ensures you remain seen in low-light conditions, significantly enhancing personal safety on active sites.
  • Triple-stitched seams provide exceptional durability, preventing failure at high-stress points during repetitive physical tasks.
  • Integrated knee pad pockets allow for the insertion of internal padding, protecting your joints during necessary ground-level work.
  • A dedicated ruler pocket offers convenient and secure storage for measuring tools, keeping them accessible while you work.
  • The front fly features a sturdy brass zip, chosen for its longevity and resistance to the rigours of industrial environments compared to standard fasteners.
  • Adjustable bottom leg openings allow for a tailored fit over various types of safety footwear, ensuring both comfort and a professional appearance.

Design & Performance

These trousers are crafted from a substantial, heavyweight fabric that provides a reliable barrier while maintaining the breathability associated with high-quality cotton. The inclusion of carbon fibre within the weave is a technical necessity for dissipative protection in hazardous zones. The two-tone design is not merely aesthetic; it strategically places darker panels in areas prone to soiling, ensuring a cleaner appearance throughout the working day. The triple stitching throughout the garment is a clear indication of its superior build quality, designed for the tradesperson who requires equipment as resilient as their work demands.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

Customising your flame-resistant workwear is a straightforward process with our expert team in Telford. These trousers can accommodate both print and embroidery, though the choice often depends on your specific branding requirements. Embroidery provides a durable, high-quality finish for company logos or staff names, creating a traditional professional appearance that stands up well to repeated industrial laundering.

Alternatively, printing is an excellent choice for larger, bolder designs that need to be clearly legible from a distance. Our in-house team, drawing on decades of experience since 1976, ensures that every application is handled with precision. When applying branding to flame-resistant garments, we take care to ensure the professional finish reflects your brand's standards without compromising the garment's integrity.

Use Cases

Given their flame-resistant and anti-static properties, these trousers are ideally suited for professionals in the petrochemical, utility, and electrical engineering sectors. They are equally effective for any trade where high visibility and robust construction are required, such as construction site management or industrial maintenance in high-risk zones.

Practical Advice

As these trousers are designed for active industrial environments, consider the layering you may require underneath during colder months to ensure complete thermal comfort. The adjustable leg openings are particularly useful for ensuring a snug fit over safety boots, which helps prevent trip hazards and keeps debris out of your footwear. We recommend checking our size guide carefully, as the substantial fabric has less elasticity than standard casual trousers.

Caring for your product

To maintain the protective performance and visual clarity of your Bizflame trousers, it is essential to follow the recommended care protocols. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove heavy industrial grime while preserving the integrity of the flame-resistant fibres.

You must not use bleach on this garment. Bleaching agents will compromise the flame-resistant properties of the fabric and can cause significant damage to the colour and structure of the material. For drying, a low tumble dry setting is recommended; excessive heat during the drying cycle can lead to unnecessary shrinkage which may affect the fit of the trousers.

When ironing, please restrict the temperature to a maximum of 150°C. Excessive heat from an iron can damage the carbon fibre components and the reflective tape. Finally, these trousers should not be dry cleaned, as the chemicals used in that process can interfere with the flame-resistant treatment applied to the fabric.
