Product Overview
These Hi-Vis Winter Trousers are a specialized piece of safety apparel designed to provide protection against the most demanding winter conditions. Engineered to keep the wearer visible, warm, and dry, these trousers combine a fluorescent outer shell with high-performance thermal insulation. The contrast design in Orange and Navy is not only a safety requirement but a practical choice for maintaining a professional appearance in environments where dirt and grease are prevalent.
Key Features
- 300D Oxford weave polyester provides a robust outer shell that is highly resistant to abrasions and tearing, ensuring the garment survives the rigours of site work.
- The stain-resistant finish allows the fabric to repel oil and water, which prevents the fluorescent colour from being obscured by grime.
- A double PU coating creates a reliable waterproof barrier, ensuring you remain dry during heavy rain or snow.
- Retro-reflective tape is strategically positioned to catch light from vehicles and machinery, significantly enhancing safety in low-light environments.
- Internal padding traps air to provide superior thermal insulation, which is vital for preventing heat loss during long shifts in freezing temperatures.
Design & Performance
The performance of these trousers is rooted in their multi-layered construction. The outer shell uses a substantial 300D Oxford weave, which offers a sturdy feel without being overly restrictive. Inside, the polyester lining and padding provide a cushioned, comfortable experience that moves with the wearer. The navy panels are placed in high-wear areas to hide dirt, while the elasticated properties and fit are designed to accommodate movement while maintaining a secure barrier against the wind. It is a well-engineered garment for those who cannot afford to let the weather dictate their work schedule.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
To ensure your team looks consistent and professional, these trousers can be fully customised with your company branding. Embroidery is the ideal choice for logos and staff names, providing a durable and high-quality finish that withstands regular laundering. For larger, high-impact designs, our print services offer excellent clarity. Every customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford. Since 1976, we have been perfecting the application of branding to technical fabrics, ensuring that your logo remains sharp without compromising the garment's protective properties.

These trousers are designed for professionals in industries such as civil engineering, rail, roadside recovery, and cold-storage logistics. Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the layers you will be wearing beneath. As these trousers feature thermal padding, they have a more substantial profile than standard work trousers. We recommend checking the fit to ensure you maintain a full range of motion for climbing ladders or operating equipment.
Caring for your product
To maintain the integrity of the waterproof coating and the effectiveness of the reflective tape, it is important to follow the specific care instructions provided. Proper maintenance ensures the trousers continue to meet safety standards throughout their lifespan.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High temperatures can damage the PU coating and reduce the adhesive strength of the reflective tape.
Do not use bleach when cleaning this garment. Bleaching agents will degrade the polyester fibres and cause the fluorescent orange colour to fade, which directly impacts the high-visibility safety rating.
The trousers should be drip-lined dried in the shade. Do not tumble dry or iron them, as the application of direct heat can melt the waterproof barrier and warp the reflective strips.
Avoid dry cleaning these trousers. The solvents used in dry cleaning can strip away the stain-resistant finish and compromise the fabric's ability to repel water.
Please be aware that this garment has a maximum limit of 50 washes. After this point, the reflective properties may no longer meet the required safety certifications, and the garment should be replaced.
