When selecting your size, consider the layers you may need to tuck in, such as flame-resistant base layers or shirts. The regular fit is designed to allow for ease of movement, but ensuring a proper fit is essential for the reflective tapes to be positioned correctly for maximum visibility.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical integrity and flame-resistant properties of your trousers, it is essential to follow these care instructions diligently. Failure to do so may compromise the safety features of the garment.
We recommend a mild process wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. This ensures the removal of dirt and contaminants without subjecting the carbon fibres or flame-resistant treatment to excessive thermal stress.
Do not use bleach. Bleaching agents will chemically degrade the flame-resistant treatment of the fabric, effectively stripping away the protection and leaving the wearer vulnerable.
These trousers should not be tumble dried. High heat from a dryer can lead to garment shrinkage and may damage the high-visibility reflective tapes, reducing their effectiveness in low-light conditions.
If ironing is necessary, use a maximum sole-plate temperature of 150°C. Avoid ironing directly over the reflective tapes to prevent melting or distortion of the glass bead technology.
Do not dry clean. The solvents used in dry cleaning can react with the specialised fabric coatings, potentially diminishing the garment's protective capabilities and affecting the vibrancy of the hi-vis panels.
