Caring for your product
Maintaining the technical performance of your Bizflame trousers requires careful adherence to the following instructions to ensure the flame-resistant and waterproof properties are not compromised.
A domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C on a mild process is recommended. Using a higher temperature or a harsh cycle can degrade the breathable PU coating and the flame-resistant finish over time.
Under no circumstances should you use bleach. Bleaching agents will chemically damage the carbon fibres and the flame-resistant treatment, rendering the safety features of the garment ineffective.
Do not tumble dry or iron these trousers. High heat from a dryer or an iron will melt the waterproof coating and damage the polyester shell. Instead, we recommend drip line drying to preserve the garment's shape and technical integrity. Dry cleaning is also to be avoided as the solvents used can strip away the essential protective coatings.
