Product Overview
The Bizflame Work FR Coverall is a meticulously engineered garment designed specifically for the rigorous demands of the offshore industry. It combines protection with functionality, ensuring that professionals working in hazardous environments are shielded from flame risks without compromising on mobility. This coverall is built with innovative flame-retardant fabric and is reinforced with high-visibility reflective tape to ensure the wearer remains conspicuous in low-light conditions.
Key Features
- Triple stitched seams provide exceptional durability and longevity, ensuring the garment withstands the physical stresses of industrial work.
- The flame-retardant finish offers essential protection against heat and flame hazards, meeting all required EN safety standards for peace of mind.
- A concealed two-way front brass zip allows for quick donning and doffing while preventing the hardware from snagging or causing sparks.
- Two front slant chest pockets with concealed brass zips offer secure and accessible storage for essential tools and personal items.
- High-visibility reflective strips on the shoulders, arms, and legs are double-stitched for extra security, significantly enhancing safety in multi-hazard environments.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a substantial Bizflame Work fabric, this coverall is composed of 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre. The high cotton content ensures the fabric remains breathable and comfortable for long shifts, while the integrated carbon fibre provides permanent anti-static properties. This is a sturdy, heavy-duty garment designed for resilience; the double-stitched reflective tape and triple-stitched seams are specific design choices intended to prevent premature wear and tear in high-friction areas. The fit is functional, allowing for the full range of movement required for technical tasks.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Bizflame Work FR Coverall is well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to maintain your corporate identity while adhering to safety regulations. For a sophisticated, professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names. This method provides a durable finish that stands up well to frequent industrial laundering. Alternatively, for larger, more prominent branding, heat-applied print is an effective option. Our experienced in-house team in Telford, established in 1976, handles all customisation with precision, ensuring the integrity of the flame-retardant garment is maintained.
Use Cases
This coverall is an essential choice for workers in the offshore oil and gas industry, as well as those in petrochemical and utility sectors. It is designed for any professional operating in environments where there is a risk of heat, flame, or static discharge. Whether working on a rig or in a processing plant, this garment provides the necessary protection and visibility required for high-risk industrial sites.

Practical Advice
As this is a substantial, heavy-duty garment, we recommend considering the layers worn beneath it when selecting your size. If you intend to wear thick thermal layers in colder offshore environments, you may find a slightly more generous fit offers better comfort. The two-way zip is particularly useful for temperature regulation and ease of access to internal clothing without needing to remove the entire coverall.
Caring for your product
To ensure this garment continues to provide maximum protection and maintains its professional appearance, follow these specific care instructions carefully.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C using a normal process. Exceeding this temperature may compromise the flame-retardant properties of the fabric over time and could lead to unnecessary shrinkage of the cotton fibres.
Do not use bleach when laundering this coverall. Bleaching agents will damage the chemical structure of the flame-retardant treatment and weaken the fabric, significantly reducing the lifespan and safety efficacy of the garment.
For drying, use a low temperature setting on a tumble dryer. Excessive heat during the drying process can cause the fabric to stiffen and may affect the reflective tape's adhesion and brilliance over time.
If ironing is required, ensure the iron temperature does not exceed 150°C. High heat from an iron can damage the carbon fibres and synthetic components of the reflective strips. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemicals used in the dry cleaning process can interfere with the flame-resistant finish.
