Product Overview

The Bizflame Work FR Coverall represents a significant advancement in protective workwear, offering a sophisticated balance between safety and wearer comfort. Engineered from a specialized, lighter-weight version of the innovative Bizflame Work fabric, this garment is designed for professionals who require flame-resistant protection without the burden of excessive bulk. It provides a dependable barrier in environments where heat and flame risks are a constant consideration, ensuring that safety standards are met while maintaining a professional appearance.

Key Features

  • Flame Resistant Fabric: The inherent properties of the Bizflame Work material provide essential protection against heat and flame, ensuring the wearer is shielded in hazardous industrial conditions.
  • High Cotton Content: Comprising 99% cotton, the fabric offers exceptional breathability and skin-friendly comfort, which is vital for long shifts in demanding roles.
  • Integrated Carbon Fibre: The inclusion of 1% carbon fibre throughout the weave provides technical functionality that complements the protective nature of the cotton blend.
  • Lighter Weight Construction: By utilizing a less heavy fabric than traditional heavy-duty alternatives, this coverall reduces fatigue and improves mobility for the active tradesperson.

Design & Performance

The performance of the Bizflame Work FR Coverall is rooted in its technical composition. The fabric is a 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre blend, which creates a textile that is both soft to the touch and remarkably resilient. This specific construction ensures that the garment is substantial enough to withstand the rigours of the workshop or site while remaining light enough to allow for natural movement. The innovative weave is designed to maintain its protective integrity over time, providing a durable solution for those working in sectors where flame resistance is non-negotiable.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

At MyWorkwear, we understand that your uniform is a reflection of your business's standards. This coverall is well-suited for both embroidery and print customisation. We generally recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names, as it provides a structured, high-quality finish that withstands industrial laundering. For larger, more vibrant branding, our heat-applied printing processes offer a bold and clear result. All customisation is managed by our expert team at our Telford facility, drawing on nearly half a century of experience since our founding in 1976.

Use Cases

This coverall is an ideal choice for professionals across the engineering, manufacturing, and utility sectors. It is particularly effective for those working in environments where there is a risk of contact with heat or flame, yet who require a garment that is breathable and easy to move in. Whether you are managing a production line or conducting maintenance in a technical facility, this garment provides the necessary protection with a clean, professional aesthetic.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage dating back to 1976, MyWorkwear has spent decades perfecting the art of technical garment customisation. Based in Telford, we pride ourselves on delivering expert advice and high-quality finishes to businesses across the UK. We do not just supply clothing; we provide engineered solutions that help protect your team and promote your brand with authority.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, consider the clothing you intend to wear underneath. As this is a lighter-weight coverall, it is excellent for layering over flame-resistant base layers in colder conditions, or wearing over light cotton workwear in warmer climates. Always ensure the fit is loose enough to allow for a full range of motion, particularly when reaching or bending.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the protective properties of your flame-resistant coverall is essential for ongoing safety. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C using a normal process. Washing at this temperature ensures the removal of industrial grease and grime without compromising the fabric's integrity.

Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleaching agents will chemically damage the flame-resistant properties of the Bizflame fabric, rendering the garment unsafe for use in hazardous environments.

For drying, use a low tumble dry setting. High heat during the drying process can lead to excessive shrinkage and may affect the lifespan of your custom embroidery or print. If ironing is required, use a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C to ensure the fabric remains smooth without scorching. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemicals used in the process can interfere with the technical fibres.
