Product Overview
The Nimbus Women’s Yosemite jacket is a high-performance shell engineered for those who require a professional appearance without sacrificing technical protection. Constructed from a sophisticated three-layer pro shell fabric, this garment seamlessly integrates recycled materials with high-end weatherproofing. It is designed to bridge the gap between corporate city environments and demanding outdoor conditions, offering a refined matt finish and a minimalist silhouette that avoids the bulk often associated with heavy-duty outerwear.
Key Features
- Certified Recycled Pro Shell: The use of recycled polyester ensures a lower environmental impact while providing a durable, high-performance exterior that stands up to the rigours of daily wear.
- High-Level Weatherproofing: With a 10,000mm water resistance rating and fully taped seams, this jacket ensures you remain dry in significant rainfall.
- Advanced Breathability: Rated at 8,000g, the fabric allows moisture to escape, preventing the internal build-up of condensation during active use.
- Bionic Finish ECO: This sustainable water-repellent treatment ensures rain beads off the surface, maintaining the fabric’s lightweight feel and protective qualities.
- Underarm Ventilation: Discreetly placed ventilation allows for temperature regulation, ensuring comfort when moving between different environments.
Design & Performance
The performance of the Yosemite jacket lies in its clever three-layer construction. Rather than relying on multiple separate linings, this technology bonds the outer shell, the waterproof PU membrane, and the inner backing into a single, cohesive fabric. This results in a medium-weight garment that provides substantial protection against wind and rain while remaining remarkably flexible. The added stretch within the fabric allows for a full range of natural movement, making it an excellent choice for professionals who are constantly on the move. Every detail, from the water-repellent zips to the adjustable hood and hem, has been considered to provide a tailored, secure fit that blocks out the elements.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The smooth, matt finish of the Yosemite jacket provides a superior canvas for corporate branding. For a traditional and highly professional finish, we recommend embroidery. Our Telford-based team uses precision machinery to apply logos and names, ensuring they withstand the elements as well as the jacket itself. Alternatively, if your branding requires large, vibrant graphics, heat-applied print is an excellent option for this fabric. Since MyWorkwear was established in 1976, we have honed our in-house customisation processes to ensure that your branding remains as durable as the garment it sits on.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideal for management teams, site visitors, or staff working in client-facing roles where a smart, uniform appearance is required regardless of the weather. Its technical specifications also make it a reliable choice for outdoor events or as a premium corporate gift. The female-specific cut ensures a professional silhouette that is both functional and flattering.

Practical Advice
The Yosemite is a true shell jacket, meaning it is designed to be worn over other layers. For colder winter months, we suggest pairing it with a fleece or a medium-weight gilet to provide thermal insulation. The sizing ranges from XS to 3XL, catering to a wide variety of team members. We recommend consulting the size guide to ensure the best fit, particularly if you intend to wear substantial layers underneath.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance of the waterproof membrane and the Bionic Finish ECO, this jacket should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High-temperature washes can degrade the adhesives used in the taped seams, potentially compromising the jacket's waterproofing.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Harsh chemicals will damage the recycled polyester fibres and cause the colour to fade prematurely. Similarly, do not dry clean the jacket, as the chemicals involved can strip away the water-repellent coating.
This jacket should not be tumble dried. High heat can warp the PU membrane and damage the water-repellent zips. Instead, allow it to air dry naturally. If ironing is required to maintain the crisp appearance, use a maximum sole-plate temperature of 110°C and do not use steam, as the moisture and heat can affect the integrity of the taped seams.
