Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance of the water-repellent finish and the loft of the insulation, it is essential to follow the recommended care instructions. We advise a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a normal process. This ensures the fabric is cleaned without degrading the recycled fibres or the Bionic Finish ECO coating.
Bleaching agents must be avoided, as they will compromise the structural integrity of the recycled polyester and lead to significant colour fading. Similarly, do not dry clean this garment, as the harsh chemicals used in the process can damage the bio-based padding.
This gilet should not be tumble dried or ironed. High heat from a tumble dryer can cause the insulation to clump, reducing its thermal efficiency, while the heat from an iron may melt the recycled pongee outer shell or damage the technical water-repellent treatment.
