Product Overview

The Nimbus Women's Hampton hoodie represents a sophisticated evolution of the traditional hooded sweatshirt. Designed with an emphasis on structure and elegance, this garment features a premium bonded double-faced fabric that ensures a clean, professional silhouette. It is an ideal choice for business environments that require a balance between comfort and a polished appearance. The thoughtful construction and high-quality materials make it a versatile piece that layers effortlessly while maintaining its refined aesthetic.

Key Features
  • The bonded double-face fabric provides a substantial feel and superior shape retention, ensuring the garment looks professional throughout the working day.
  • Equipped with a high-quality YKK 2-way reverse coil zipper, offering durability and the flexibility to adjust the fit from both the top and bottom.
  • Constructed using organic cotton, supporting more sustainable textile production while delivering a softer and more refined handle.
  • Featuring a tone-in-tone rib hem that matches the main fabric, contributing to the hoodie's sleek and cohesive design.

Design & Performance

The performance of the Hampton hoodie lies in its technical fabric blend, consisting of 71% organic cotton, 22% polyester, and 7% elastane. This combination is engineered to offer the best of all worlds: the natural breathability and luxury of cotton, the durability and wrinkle resistance of polyester, and the essential stretch provided by elastane. This is a heavyweight, sturdy garment that does not compromise on mobility. The bonded nature of the fabric means it provides more wind resistance and structure than a standard single-layer sweatshirt, making it a reliable choice for changing environments.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This premium hoodie is designed to be a canvas for your professional branding. Because of its substantial weight and smooth surface, it is perfectly suited for both print and embroidery. Embroidery is particularly recommended for those seeking a traditional, professional appearance; our high-density stitching ensures logos and names look crisp and remain durable.

For larger, more graphic designs, our printing services provide a vibrant and clean finish. All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford. Having been established in 1976, we have the technical knowledge to ensure your custom branding is applied with the precision required for a high-end garment like the Hampton.

Use Cases

The Hampton is specifically tailored for professional settings where a standard hoodie might appear too informal. It is an excellent choice for hospitality front-of-house staff, corporate events, or as a premium uniform for management and office-based teams. Its clean lines also make it suitable for client-facing roles where a modern, smart-casual dress code is the standard.

Practical Advice

This hoodie is designed with a specific female fit and is available in sizes XS (UK 8) through to 3XL (UK 20). Because the bonded fabric is more structured than standard jersey, it provides a tailored look. When selecting your size, consider your layering needs; if you intend to wear this over multiple layers, you may find a larger size offers more comfort. The 2-way zip is particularly useful for comfort when seated for long periods.

Caring for your product

To preserve the premium finish and structural integrity of this double-faced garment, it is important to follow careful maintenance routines. Washing at moderate temperatures will help protect the organic cotton fibres and maintain the elasticity of the fabric blend.

Avoid using bleach or harsh chemical detergents, as these can break down the bonded layers of the fabric and cause the colours to lose their depth. Maintaining the fabric's health is essential for ensuring your embroidered or printed logos remain sharp.

When drying, we recommend avoiding high heat. High temperatures in a tumble dryer can lead to uneven shrinkage between the different fibre types and may damage the elastane, resulting in a loss of shape. Air drying is the safest method to ensure the hoodie keeps its tailored silhouette.

If you need to iron the garment, use a low heat setting. Avoid ironing directly over any printed branding, as the heat can damage the print's finish. Proper care will ensure this heavyweight hoodie remains a core part of your professional wardrobe for a long time.
