Product Overview

The Nimbus Hampton premium double-faced hoodie represents a sophisticated evolution of the traditional hooded sweatshirt. Engineered for those who require a garment that bridges the gap between casual comfort and professional attire, this piece is crafted from a high-quality bonded double-faced fabric. This technical construction ensures the garment possesses a structured silhouette that maintains its shape throughout the working day, providing a clean and elegant appearance that layers exceptionally well under jackets or over polo shirts.

By utilising a blend of organic cotton and synthetic fibres, the Hampton offers a superior hand-feel without compromising on the durability required for a work environment. Its minimalist design makes it an ideal canvas for corporate branding, ensuring your team looks unified and professional in any setting.

Key Features
  • Bonded Double Face Fabric: This technique creates a more substantial feel and a refined interior finish, ensuring the hoodie looks as professional on the inside as it does on the outside.
  • YKK 2-Way Reverse Coil Zipper: The inclusion of a world-renowned YKK zipper provides smooth, reliable operation and allows for adjustable ventilation and fit from both the top and bottom.
  • Organic Cotton Blend: Primarily composed of organic cotton, the fabric is soft against the skin and supports more sustainable farming practices, aligning your brand with conscious manufacturing.
  • Elastane Integration: The addition of elastane provides a subtle stretch, allowing for a greater range of movement without the garment becoming baggy or misshapen.
  • Ribbed Hem and Cuffs: These colour-matched components provide a secure fit and help to retain heat, ensuring the garment stays in place during physical activity.

Design & Performance

The performance of the Nimbus Hampton is rooted in its material composition. As a heavyweight garment, it provides significant warmth and protection against the elements, making it suitable for year-round use in various UK climates. The bonded fabric is not just about aesthetics; it adds a layer of wind resistance and structural integrity that single-layer sweatshirts often lack.

The design is focused on clean lines, with a reverse coil zip that creates a sleek, uninterrupted profile. Because it is part of our heavyweight collection, you can expect a garment that feels substantial and durable, capable of withstanding the rigours of daily wear while maintaining a premium finish that does not pill or fade easily.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Hampton is a versatile choice for customisation. Its smooth, high-density outer surface is particularly well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing for a high level of detail in your branding.

For those seeking a classic, prestigious finish, embroidery is the recommended choice. It is ideal for company logos or staff names, providing a durable and professional look that withstands frequent laundering. If your design is larger or requires bold, vibrant colours, our high-quality printing process ensures your branding stands out clearly. All customisation is handled in-house by our expert team in Telford, who have been perfecting these techniques since 1976.

Use Cases

This hoodie is designed for professionals who need to maintain a smart appearance while requiring the utility of a sweatshirt. It is perfectly suited for corporate office environments, client-facing roles in the trades, or as a high-end uniform for retail and hospitality staff. Its understated elegance also makes it an excellent choice for executive travel or promotional events where a standard hoodie might feel too casual.

Practical Advice

The Hampton features a modern, tailored fit. Available in sizes ranging from Small to 4XL, it is designed to accommodate a wide variety of body types. When selecting your size, consider what you intend to wear underneath; if you plan to use it as a primary outer layer over multiple garments, you may wish to consult our size guide to ensure a comfortable fit. For a sleeker, more professional look, we recommend choosing your standard chest size for a closer silhouette.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and the premium feel of the bonded fabric, it is essential to follow the recommended care path. Proper maintenance ensures the organic cotton remains soft and the elastane retains its elasticity, preventing the garment from losing its shape over time.

We advise against the use of bleach or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can break down the organic fibres and damage the bonding agent between the fabric layers. Furthermore, following specific temperature guidelines for washing will help preserve the vibrancy of your printed or embroidered logos, ensuring your branding remains sharp for the life of the hoodie.
