Product Overview

The Nimbus Henderson is a sophisticated diamond-quilted jacket that offers a refined approach to professional outerwear. Melding a contemporary silhouette with traditional design elements, it provides a look that is both noble and versatile. This jacket is the ideal choice for those seeking a transition layer that offers weather protection and a professional profile without the unnecessary bulk of a traditional heavy coat. Its combination of technical features and aristocratic aesthetics makes it a staple for modern business wardrobes.

Key Features
  • The YKK metalux main zipper provides a high-quality, durable closure that ensures smooth operation and a premium feel, preventing the snagging often associated with lesser components.
  • A structured stand-up collar offers essential protection against wind and cold, while maintaining a sharp, professional appearance for the wearer.
  • The integrated rib cuffs at the sleeves create a secure fit, effectively trapping body heat and preventing drafts from entering the garment.
  • Treated with a Bionic Finish ECO, the outer fabric features a sustainable water-repellent finish that allows moisture to bead off, keeping you dry during light showers.
  • Sorona Aura insulation, which incorporates 30% bio-based material, provides exceptional warmth and breathability while remaining remarkably lightweight.

Design & Performance

Constructed with a 100% nylon diamond-quilted outer, the Henderson is designed for durability and wind resistance. The interior is lined with smooth polyester and filled with Sorona Aura insulation. This specific padding is chosen for its ability to provide warmth without adding weight, making the jacket highly comfortable for all-day wear. The use of bio-based materials in the insulation highlights a commitment to more sustainable garment production without compromising on thermal performance.

The jacket is engineered to move with the wearer, offering a comfortable fit that does not feel restrictive. Whether worn over a dress shirt or a lightweight jumper, its tailored design ensures you maintain a professional image. The inclusion of the water-repellent finish ensures that the jacket remains functional in the unpredictable UK climate, providing a reliable barrier against the elements.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Nimbus Henderson serves as a superior canvas for corporate branding. For those wishing to achieve a professional and permanent finish, we highly recommend embroidery. Our in-house team in Telford uses precision machinery to apply logos and names, creating a high-quality textured effect that complements the jacket's sophisticated diamond quilting. This method is exceptionally durable and will remain looking sharp throughout the life of the garment.

Alternatively, printing is an excellent option for those who require larger, bold designs or specific branding that needs to stand out. At MyWorkwear, we have been perfecting our customisation techniques since 1976. Our Telford-based experts handle every stage of the process, ensuring that whether you choose print or embroidery, your branding is applied with the technical expertise your business deserves.

Use Cases

This jacket is particularly well-suited for management teams, sales professionals, and corporate hospitality staff who require a smart and functional outer layer. It is an excellent choice for site visits, client meetings, or as a premium addition to a corporate uniform programme. Its lightweight and weather-resistant properties also make it a reliable choice for everyday professional commuting.

Practical Advice

The Henderson jacket is available in a broad size range from S to 4XL. As it features a contemporary, tailored fit, we recommend consulting the specific chest measurements provided to ensure the best fit. If you intend to wear the jacket over multiple layers or a heavy knitwear piece, you may find that selecting one size larger than your standard measurement provides increased comfort and mobility.

Caring for your product

Maintaining your jacket correctly is vital to preserve its technical performance and the quality of your custom branding. Proper care ensures that the diamond-quilted structure remains intact and that the bio-based insulation continues to provide efficient warmth over time.

It is important to follow the specific instructions on the garment's label to protect the Bionic Finish ECO water-repellent treatment. Failure to adhere to these guidelines can lead to a degradation of the fabric's ability to repel water and may affect the longevity of your embroidered or printed logos. Avoiding harsh chemical treatments will help maintain the integrity of the nylon outer and the polyester lining.
