Product Overview

The Nimbus Harvard classic stretch deluxe polo is an exceptionally well-engineered garment that bridges the gap between casual workwear and formal attire. Crafted for those who require a professional appearance without sacrificing comfort, this polo features a unique stretch deluxe fitting that provides a modern, tailored silhouette. Unlike standard polo shirts, the Harvard is designed with meticulous attention to detail, incorporating a shirt collar stand that ensures the collar maintains its shape and height, even when worn under a jacket or knitwear.

Key Features
  • Stretch Deluxe Fitting: Provides a contemporary, shaped fit that moves with the wearer, ensuring a sharp appearance throughout the working day.
  • Shirt Collar Stand: Elevates the garment from a standard polo to a more sophisticated option, keeping the collar upright and professional.
  • Combed Organic Cotton: Offers a superior level of softness against the skin while supporting sustainable farming practices and high-quality textile production.
  • Three-Button Placket: Features tone-in-tone buttons for a subtle, understated aesthetic that suits a formal business environment.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a high-quality blend of 95% combed organic cotton and 5% elastane, this substantial medium-weight polo is built for both longevity and performance. The addition of elastane allows the fabric to stretch and recover, preventing the garment from becoming misshapen after repeated wear or long shifts. The use of combed cotton means the shorter fibres have been removed during the spinning process, resulting in a smoother, stronger yarn that resists pilling and provides a premium canvas for your company branding.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Harvard polo is an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery, making it a versatile choice for your company uniform. For a truly professional and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for chest logos or staff names; the high-density knit of the combed cotton provides a stable base for intricate needlework, ensuring your logo remains crisp. Alternatively, our precision printing services are ideal for larger branding on the back or sleeves, delivering vibrant colours and sharp lines. Our Telford-based team, operating since 1976, handles all customisation in-house to ensure every garment is finished to our exacting standards.

Use Cases

This polo is perfectly suited for customer-facing roles, management positions, or corporate events where a sophisticated appearance is required. Its elegant design makes it equally appropriate for the office or for professional tradespeople who wish to present a more polished image to their clients. With a size range from S to 4XL, it is an inclusive and stylish option for a wide variety of business sectors.

Practical Advice

When choosing your size, please note that this garment features a "stretch deluxe fitting," which is designed to sit closer to the body than a traditional loose-fit polo. If you prefer a more relaxed feel, you may wish to consider selecting one size larger than your usual measurement. The inclusion of a shirt collar stand also makes this polo an ideal layering piece beneath a crew-neck jumper or a blazer for a smart-casual ensemble.

Caring for your product

To maintain the luxurious feel and structural integrity of this organic cotton blend, it is essential to follow correct laundering procedures. Washing the garment at moderate temperatures helps to preserve the elastane fibres, ensuring the polo retains its stretch and shape over time. Neglecting this may lead to the fabric losing its elasticity, resulting in a baggy or misshapen fit.

We recommend washing the garment inside out to protect both the combed cotton surface and any custom embroidery or print from the abrasive action of the drum. Avoid the use of harsh bleaching agents, as these will break down the organic fibres and cause the colours to fade prematurely. When drying, air drying is preferred to high-heat tumble drying, which can cause unnecessary shrinkage and damage the delicate shirt collar stand.
