Product Overview

The Nimbus Princeton is not your average polo shirt. It is a meticulously designed piece of corporate apparel that bridges the gap between casual comfort and formal sophistication. Constructed from a luxurious blend of combed organic cotton and elastane, it offers a refined silhouette that remains sharp throughout the working day. With its distinctive cutaway collar and tone-on-tone buttons, this garment is intended for those who require their workwear to reflect a higher standard of professional presentation.

Key Features
  • Cutaway Collar: Provides a modern, formal aesthetic that mirrors high-end tailoring, making it suitable for wear under a blazer or as a standalone piece.
  • Organic Combed Cotton: The use of combed fibres ensures a smoother, stronger fabric that feels exceptionally soft against the skin while meeting high environmental standards.
  • Stretchy Deluxe Fitting: The inclusion of elastane allows the garment to move with the wearer and recover its shape, preventing the dreaded 'baggy' look after a few hours of use.
  • Two-Button Placket: A clean, minimalist design featuring colour-matched buttons for a discreet and professional finish.
  • Sustainable Accreditations: Fully certified with OCS and OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ensuring your team is wearing garments produced with social and environmental responsibility in mind.

Design & Performance

Performance in a professional environment is as much about appearance as it is about comfort. The medium-weight fabric of the Princeton polo provides enough substance to drape elegantly, while the 5% elastane content ensures it doesn't restrict movement. This is a deluxe-fitting garment, meaning it is cut to flatter the wearer without being overly restrictive. The combed organic cotton is not only better for the planet but also offers superior breathability and durability compared to standard cotton alternatives.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The fine-gauge knit of the Princeton makes it an ideal canvas for customisation. For a truly prestigious finish, we recommend embroidery. Our Telford-based team, with expertise dating back to 1976, uses high-quality threads to recreate your logo with precision, ensuring it stands out on the luxurious fabric. If your branding requires a larger, more vibrant application, the smooth surface of the organic cotton also accommodates high-definition printing exceptionally well. Whether you choose the traditional texture of embroidery or the bold clarity of print, your branding will be handled in-house to our exacting standards.

Use Cases

This polo shirt is specifically designed for 'well-dressed' situations. It is the perfect choice for front-of-house staff, corporate hospitality teams, or management attending trade shows and client meetings. It provides a cohesive, professional appearance for teams who need to look smarter than a standard polo allows, but perhaps find a full dress shirt too formal for their daily duties.

Why MyWorkwear

Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a British business that has been at the heart of the garment customisation industry since 1976. Based in Telford, our expert team manages the entire process from order to delivery. We understand that your workwear is a reflection of your brand, which is why we apply decades of technical knowledge to every stitch and print.

Practical Advice

The Princeton features a 'deluxe fitting', which is slightly more tailored than a traditional 'classic' fit polo. If your team prefers a more relaxed feel, you may wish to consider sizing up, though the integrated stretch usually accommodates most builds comfortably. It layers beautifully under a knit jumper or a softshell jacket for a professional multi-season look.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the organic fibres and the vibrancy of your custom branding, we recommend a normal wash process at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of shape over time.

You must avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the fabric and cause significant discolouration to both the garment and your embroidered or printed logo.

Do not tumble dry this garment. Natural air drying is essential to prevent shrinkage and to ensure the cutaway collar maintains its structured shape. Similarly, dry cleaning should be avoided as the harsh chemicals can interfere with the organic cotton's natural softness and the adhesives used in printed designs.
