Nimbus Clearwater – quick-dry performance polo

Product Overview

The Nimbus Clearwater is a sophisticated performance polo shirt engineered from a fine-gauged polyester piqué. Unlike standard cotton alternatives, this garment offers a crisp, soft handle combined with high-performance technical qualities. Designed to remain wrinkle-free throughout a busy shift, it provides a consistently professional appearance while ensuring the wearer remains comfortable in demanding environments.

Key Features

• Fine Gauged Polyester Piqué: This fabric construction provides a smoother, more refined texture than traditional piqué, ensuring a professional look that feels soft against the skin.
• Integrated Shirt Collar Stand: The built-in collar stand ensures the collar maintains its shape and sits correctly, preventing it from flattening or curling over time.
• Three-Button Placket: A classic design element that allows for adjustable ventilation and provides a traditional, smart aesthetic.
• Wicking and Quick-Drying: The technical fabric actively moves moisture away from the body, keeping the wearer dry during physical exertion.

Design & Performance

The Clearwater is built for the intersection of corporate style and active performance. The 100% polyester piqué fabric is inherently wrinkle-free, which is essential for professionals who need to maintain a sharp image without the need for constant maintenance. Its lightweight fabric composition makes it highly breathable, while the semi-technical construction ensures it performs better than natural fibres in high-humidity or physically active roles. With accreditations including OEKO-TEX and Amfori, this garment also meets high standards of environmental and social responsibility.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This performance polo is an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery. Embroidery is particularly recommended for company logos or staff names, as the fine-gauged piqué supports detailed stitch work for a superior professional finish. For larger, more vibrant branding, our high-quality print methods are equally effective. At MyWorkwear, our expert team in Telford has been perfecting these customisation techniques since 1976, ensuring your branding is as durable as the garment itself.

Use Cases

The Nimbus Clearwater is perfectly suited for corporate environments, front-of-house staff, or technicians who require a smart appearance but work in temperature-sensitive or active settings. Its quick-drying nature makes it a favourite for team members who are frequently on the move or transitioning between different working environments.

Practical Advice

The Clearwater features a comfortable fit and is available in an inclusive size range from S up to 4XL. For those working in cooler environments, the moisture-wicking properties make this an excellent base layer that prevents the dampness often associated with standard fabrics. We recommend consulting the sizing guide to ensure a correct fit for your workforce.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical performance and professional finish of your Clearwater polo, proper care is essential. Following the specific laundering instructions on the internal label will ensure the moisture-wicking properties and garment shape are preserved over time.

Avoid using high heat during washing or drying, as excessive temperatures can damage the technical polyester fibres and may cause custom branding to degrade. Similarly, avoid using fabric softeners, as these can coat the fibres and reduce the fabric's ability to effectively wick moisture away from the skin.
