Product Overview

The Kustom Kit City business shirt is a cornerstone of professional corporate attire, offering a sharp, tailored silhouette without compromising on the comfort of natural fibres. Constructed from 100% cotton, this long-sleeved shirt is designed for the modern professional who requires a crisp appearance throughout a demanding working day. The easy-iron finish ensures that maintaining a high standard of presentation is straightforward, making it an ideal choice for busy teams who need to look their best with minimal effort.

Key Features
  • Fused stand-up button-down collar: Provides a permanent, structured shape that remains sharp even when worn without a tie.
  • Easy-iron properties: Significantly reduces time spent on garment maintenance, allowing you to focus on your business rather than the ironing board.
  • Two-button cuffs: Offers adjustable fastening for a secure fit around the wrist, maintaining a clean line at the sleeve.
  • Double-stitched seams: Reinforced side and sleeve seams ensure the garment can withstand the rigours of daily wear without fraying or failing.
  • Rounded hem: Designed to look professional whether tucked into trousers or worn in a more relaxed corporate environment.

Design & Performance

This shirt is engineered from a lightweight, high-quality cotton fabric that prioritises breathability and wearer comfort. Unlike heavier, restrictive materials, this fine-weave cotton allows for natural temperature regulation, which is essential in climate-controlled office environments or active hospitality settings. The tailored fit provides a more contemporary, streamlined profile compared to traditional cuts, reducing excess fabric for a smarter appearance.

The technical construction includes a single needle stitched yoke and armholes, a detail typically found in premium tailoring that provides a smoother finish and greater durability at high-stress points. The inclusion of spare buttons is a small but essential detail for the long-term longevity of the garment. Furthermore, the shirt holds several professional accreditations, including Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and REACH, ensuring it meets high safety and environmental standards.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The fine weave of the 100% cotton fabric provides an excellent canvas for customisation. For a truly professional corporate identity, we recommend embroidery. Our Telford-based team uses high-precision machinery to apply your company logo or staff names, creating a durable and prestigious finish that withstands regular laundering and maintains a 'proper' professional appearance.

For larger promotional designs or bold branding, this shirt also accommodates high-quality printing. Whether you choose embroidery for its classic appeal or print for its visual impact, all work is managed in-house by our experts, drawing on nearly five decades of experience since our establishment in 1976.

Use Cases

This garment is perfectly suited for corporate office environments, front-of-house hospitality roles, and sales teams who require a consistent and professional look. Its tailored fit makes it particularly popular for customer-facing roles where first impressions are paramount and a sharp silhouette is required.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, please refer to the collar measurement for the most accurate fit, with options ranging from 14.5" to 19.5". This shirt's tailored cut is designed to be closer to the body; if you prefer a more generous fit across the chest and waist, you may wish to consider a classic-cut alternative. It layers exceptionally well under corporate blazers or premium knitwear without adding unnecessary bulk.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the cotton fibres and the crispness of the easy-iron finish, we recommend a domestic machine wash at 40°C. Washing at this temperature effectively removes daily grime while preventing the premature breakdown of the fabric structure.

Avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will weaken the cotton yarns and cause colours to fade, particularly on embroidered logos. This shirt should not be dry cleaned or tumble dried. Tumble drying can lead to excessive shrinkage and can damage the fused collar and cuffs, compromising the shirt’s professional silhouette and fit.

Iron using a two-dot setting. The easy-iron properties mean that a moderate heat is sufficient to remove any remaining creases, ensuring your shirt looks professionally pressed with minimal effort while protecting the 100% cotton fabric.
