Product Overview

The Brook Taverner Rufina Classic Fit Shirt is a staple of refined professional attire, designed for those who require a polished appearance without sacrificing day-to-day practicality. As part of a coordinated collection, this shirt is specifically engineered to match the Roccella shirt and the Perano and Pescara blouses, making it an ideal choice for businesses looking to implement a consistent, unified uniform across their entire team.

Featuring a subtle white and grey stripe pattern, the Rufina offers a sophisticated alternative to plain business shirts. Its classic fit provides a comfortable, traditional silhouette that allows for ease of movement throughout a busy shift, ensuring that your staff remain comfortable from the morning commute to the final meeting of the day.

Key Features
  • Cotton-rich composition: The blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester offers the breathability of natural fibres with the added resilience of synthetic materials.
  • Easycare and easy-iron finish: This garment is designed to minimise the time spent on maintenance, ensuring a smooth, crisp finish with minimal effort.
  • Long-sleeve design with single cuff: A standard professional configuration that works well in formal environments and transitions easily through the seasons.
  • Coordinated styling: Designed to complement other Brook Taverner garments, allowing for a seamless corporate identity across different roles and genders.

Design & Performance

The performance of the Rufina shirt lies in its fabric engineering. By blending high-quality cotton with polyester, Brook Taverner has created a shirt that manages moisture effectively while resisting the heavy creasing often associated with 100% cotton garments. This lightweight fabric ensures the wearer remains cool in office environments, while the polyester component provides the structural integrity needed to withstand the rigours of daily wear.

The white and grey stripe is more than a stylistic choice; it provides a visual depth that maintains a professional aesthetic even in high-pressure environments. The classic fit is generous without being baggy, providing a professional drape that suits a wide variety of body types, which is essential when outfitting a diverse workforce.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Rufina shirt is an excellent canvas for customisation, though we generally recommend embroidery for this specific style of garment. A finely detailed embroidered logo on the chest or collar provides a superior, permanent finish that reinforces a professional corporate image. Our in-house team in Telford has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring that your branding is applied with precision.

While embroidery is the standard for business shirts, print options are available for larger, bolder designs if required for promotional events. Regardless of the method chosen, the stable weave of the cotton-rich fabric ensures that your customisation remains sharp and vibrant over time, reflecting the quality of your own business.

Use Cases

This shirt is perfectly suited for corporate office environments, front-of-house hospitality roles, and customer-facing sales teams. Because it belongs to a matched collection, it is particularly useful for organisations that want to provide a cohesive look for staff in different departments, from management to administration.

Why MyWorkwear

Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been a trusted partner for businesses across the UK. Based in Telford, we combine decades of expertise with a commitment to quality that is evident in every garment we produce. We understand that your workwear is an extension of your brand, which is why we handle all customisation in-house, ensuring that the final product meets our rigorous standards of excellence.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, keep in mind that the 'Classic Fit' is our most traditional cut. It provides more room across the chest and waist compared to a slim-fit alternative. For a complete professional look, this shirt layers exceptionally well under a tailored blazer or a high-quality V-neck jumper during the colder months.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-quality finish of your Rufina shirt, it is essential to follow the machine-washable instructions provided. Regular washing at the recommended temperature helps to remove daily grime and perspiration, which, if left untreated, can break down the fabric fibres over time.

The easy-iron nature of the shirt means that a light press is usually all that is required to restore its crisp appearance. We recommend ironing while the garment is slightly damp to achieve the best results. Proper care ensures that the fabric retains its shape and that your embroidered or printed branding stays looking its best for the life of the garment.
