Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% polyester, this waistcoat is a lightweight fabric garment that offers breathability without compromising on durability. The material is specifically chosen for its ability to retain vibrant colours and high-visibility properties even after repeated use. For those working in high-risk areas, the Hi-Vis Yellow, Orange, and Yellow/Orange versions conform to EN ISO20471:2013 Class 2 standards. The two-tone options, such as those with a Navy or Purple yoke, conform to Class 1, while other colours offer enhanced visibility for general safety needs.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Yoko YK001 is a highly adaptable garment for customisation. Embroidery is an excellent choice for adding company logos or individual names, providing a durable and professional appearance that stands up to the rigours of the workplace. For larger graphics or bold safety messages on the rear of the waistcoat, our high-quality printing process ensures your branding is clear and impactful.
At MyWorkwear, we have been perfecting our customisation techniques since 1976. Our experienced team in Telford handles every stage of the process, ensuring your branded workwear is finished to an expert standard and delivered with the precision that only decades of experience can provide.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, please consider what will be worn underneath the waistcoat. If it is intended for use over heavy winter coats or thick jumpers, we recommend selecting a larger size to ensure ease of movement. The lightweight polyester construction also allows for easy storage, as it can be folded away without damaging the reflective tapes.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and safety certification of this garment, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the reflective materials and degrade the polyester fibres, reducing the garment's effective lifespan.
Bleaching must be avoided, as it will destroy the high-visibility dyes and the integrity of the reflective tapes. Similarly, do not tumble dry or iron this waistcoat; excessive heat will cause the synthetic fabric to melt and the reflective strips to peel or lose their lustre.
This waistcoat is rated for a maximum of 25 wash cycles. To ensure you remain fully compliant with safety regulations, the garment should be replaced once this limit is reached or if the reflective material shows signs of significant wear. Please note that industrial laundering is not recommended for this lightweight garment.
