Product Overview
The AWDis 150 Kids T represents a thoughtful progression in junior apparel, prioritising a balance between value and technical performance. Engineered specifically for the customisation market, this t-shirt introduces PurePrint fabric technology, which has been developed to provide a superior surface for both ink and thread. Its relaxed fit ensures younger wearers remain comfortable throughout the day, whether in a classroom or on the playing field.
Key Features
- PurePrint BC Cotton Fabric: This specialised cotton provides a smooth, consistent surface that allows for exceptionally clear print definition and stable embroidery.
- Relaxed Fit: Designed with a generous cut to allow for natural movement and comfort during active use.
- Taped Back Neck: The inclusion of neck taping enhances the structural integrity of the garment and prevents irritation against the skin.
- Twin Needle Stitch Details: Reinforced stitching at the hems and sleeves ensures the t-shirt withstands the rigours of frequent wear and washing.
- Side Seams: These provide a more tailored silhouette and prevent the garment from twisting or losing its shape over time.
- Ribbed Crew Neck: A classic design feature that maintains its shape and elasticity, even after repeated use.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a lightweight 100% cotton PurePrint fabric, this t-shirt is designed for breathability and a soft hand-feel. For the Heather Grey variant, a blend of 90% cotton and 10% viscose is used to achieve the textured finish without compromising the fabric's performance. The garment is built to be a reliable canvas, with a design that avoids unnecessary branding—featuring only a size label at the neck and a discreet name label in the side seam, making it an ideal choice for school uniforms or club kits.
The technical merit of this garment is backed by a suite of ethical and quality accreditations, including Oeko-Tex Standard 100, SEDEX, and Amfori BSCI. Being Peta-Approved Vegan and part of the Better Cotton initiative, it meets the modern requirements for sustainable and ethical sourcing in the textile industry.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The AWDis 150 Kids T is specifically optimised for branding. Embroidery is highly recommended for creating a refined professional appearance, particularly for school crests or club logos where a textured, premium finish is desired. The PurePrint fabric provides the necessary stability to support intricate needlework without puckering.
Alternatively, the smooth surface of the cotton is perfect for print applications. Whether you require bold screen printing or high-definition Direct-to-Garment (DTG) designs, the fabric ensures colours remain vibrant and details stay sharp. All customisation is managed in-house by our expert team in Telford, who have been perfecting these techniques since 1976.
Use Cases
This t-shirt is a versatile staple suitable for a wide range of applications. It is particularly well-suited for primary and secondary school physical education kits, youth sports teams, and summer camp uniforms. Additionally, its high-quality print surface makes it an excellent choice for promotional merchandise at festivals or events aimed at a younger demographic.

Practical Advice
For the best fit, we recommend referring to our size guide, which covers ages 3/4 through to 14/15. This t-shirt is lightweight enough to be worn comfortably as a base layer under sweatshirts or hoodies during colder months, yet substantial enough to be worn independently in warmer weather. If you are between sizes, the relaxed fit usually allows for a comfortable drape even when sizing up for growth.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and the quality of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic machine wash at 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures can lead to premature fading of prints and potential shrinkage of the cotton fibres.
Avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the fabric strength and significantly alter the colour of the garment. For drying, a low tumble dry setting is advised; excessive heat can damage the adhesive bonds in prints and cause the embroidery threads to tighten unevenly.
When ironing, use a low heat setting and ensure you do not iron directly over any printed or embroidered areas, as this can cause the designs to distort. Finally, this garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, as the solvents used can be detrimental to the PurePrint fabric technology.
