Product Overview
The B&C #E150 /kids is a reliably constructed t-shirt designed to meet the demands of younger wearers while maintaining a professional appearance. Engineered for both boys and girls, this unisex garment bridges the gap between childhood and the teenage years with a focus on comfort and a high-quality finish. It serves as a direct counterpart to adult ranges, allowing for a consistent brand or team identity across all age groups.
Key Features
- Tubular construction: This design removes side seams on most sizes, which reduces irritation and allows the garment to move more naturally with the wearer during physical activity.
- Thin collar rib: A modern, narrow ribbing at the neck provides a contemporary aesthetic that remains tidy and avoids the bulky look of traditional heavy-duty t-shirts.
- Back neck tape: This reinforcement across the rear neck seam ensures the t-shirt retains its structural integrity and provides a clean, smooth feel against the skin.
- Tagless design: By removing the traditional neck label, this garment eliminates a common source of discomfort for children with sensitive skin.
Design & Performance
The garment is manufactured using 100% pre-shrunk ringspun cotton, a process that creates a smoother and more resilient yarn than standard cotton. This choice of material ensures a soft handle against the skin while providing a stable surface that is less prone to twisting or shrinking after laundering. Although it is a lightweight fabric, the tight jersey knit offers surprising durability, making it well-suited for the rigours of school life or sports clubs. The inclusion of viscose in the Ash and Sport Grey variants provides a subtle textured effect while maintaining the garment's overall performance and comfort levels.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This t-shirt is an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery, thanks to the high-quality ringspun cotton surface. Embroidery is the preferred choice for a professional and long-lasting finish, making it ideal for school crests, club logos, or individual names. For larger, more impactful designs or promotional graphics, our printing processes deliver vibrant colours and sharp detail. Our in-house team in Telford has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring that every customised garment meets our rigorous quality standards.

Additionally, it is a practical choice for businesses hosting family-oriented events or those requiring branded apparel for younger volunteers and staff members.

Practical Advice
When selecting sizes, please refer to the chest measurements provided to ensure the best fit across the wide age range. As a lightweight garment, it functions perfectly as a standalone piece in warmer weather or as a comfortable base layer underneath a sweatshirt or fleece during the winter months. The unisex cut is designed to be accommodating for various builds without being overly restrictive.
Caring for your product
To maintain the appearance and longevity of the garment and any custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. This temperature effectively cleans the fabric without causing excessive wear to the cotton fibres or the print and embroidery.
It is important to avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will break down the natural cotton fibres and cause colours to fade prematurely. When drying, use a low heat setting on a tumble dryer; excessive heat can lead to shrinkage and may damage the adhesive qualities of printed designs.
For ironing, a medium heat setting is appropriate. To protect any customisation, always iron the garment inside out. This prevents direct heat from affecting the texture of the embroidery or the finish of the print, keeping the branding looking professional for longer.
