Product Overview

The Tee Jays Junior UNLABELED hooded sweatshirt represents a sophisticated approach to youth workwear and promotional apparel. Specifically engineered for rebranding, this garment is void of external labelling, allowing your business or organisation to take centre stage. It is crafted from a premium blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester, offering a substantial, heavyweight feel that far exceeds standard junior options. The relaxed fit ensures comfort for active youngsters, while the double-dyed fabric provides a deep, lasting colour that withstands the rigours of daily wear.

Key Features
  • Three-Thread Fabric Construction: This high-quality knitting technique creates a smooth, durable exterior and a plush, brushed interior for maximum warmth and longevity.
  • Double Preshrunk Material: We ensure the fabric is treated twice before assembly, meaning the sweatshirt will maintain its intended size and shape even after repeated laundering.
  • 60°C Wash Capability: Unlike many junior garments, this sweatshirt can be washed at higher temperatures to effectively remove stubborn stains and maintain hygiene.
  • Elastane-Reinforced Ribbing: The addition of elastane to the cuffs and hem prevents sagging, ensuring the garment retains a professional silhouette over time.
  • Sustainable Composition: Utilising certified organic cotton and recycled polyester, this choice supports corporate social responsibility goals without compromising on garment performance.

Design & Performance

This is not a flimsy layer; it is a robust, heavyweight sweatshirt designed for durability. The brushed interior provides a soft, insulating layer that is comfortable against the skin, making it an excellent choice for outdoor activities or cooler environments. The double-dyed process ensures that the fabric retains its rich pigmentation, resisting the fading often seen in lower-quality garments. Furthermore, the inclusion of a half-moon neck insert provides a reinforced area perfect for bespoke internal branding.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The smooth surface of the three-thread fabric makes this sweatshirt an ideal canvas for both print and embroidery. For a traditional and highly durable professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for school or club crests. If your design is larger or requires high-impact visuals, our precision printing techniques will yield sharp, vibrant results. Every customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on nearly five decades of experience to ensure your brand is represented perfectly.

Use Cases

This sweatshirt is perfectly suited for school uniforms, junior sports clubs, and youth organisations looking for a premium, long-lasting garment. Its robust nature also makes it an excellent choice for children of tradespeople who require durable clothing that matches a professional company image.

Practical Advice

The relaxed fit of this sweatshirt allows for easy layering over t-shirts or polo shirts. When selecting a size for growing children, consider the generous cut, though the double-preshrunk fabric means you won't need to account for significant shrinkage after the first wash.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and appearance of this sweatshirt, it should be washed with similar colours. This prevents dye transfer and keeps the finish looking sharp and professional.

We advise against the use of a tumble dryer. Air drying is the most effective way to ensure the garment keeps its shape and prevents any unnecessary stress on the fibres or the custom branding.

Avoid using bleach, as this will degrade the organic cotton fibres and strip the double-dyed colour. If your garment features a print, do not iron directly over the design; the heat will damage the print medium and ruin the professional finish of your logo.
