Product Overview

The Bella Canvas Unisex Sueded Fleece Pullover Hoodie represents a sophisticated evolution of the standard workwear hooded sweatshirt. Designed with a contemporary retail fit, this garment moves away from the bulky silhouettes of traditional industrial wear, offering a streamlined aesthetic that does not compromise on comfort. The defining characteristic of this hoodie is its innovative sueded fleece fabric, which undergoes a finishing process to create an exceptionally soft, velvet-like texture. Whether intended for high-end corporate gifting or as a premium addition to a modern staff uniform, this hoodie provides a professional appearance while maintaining the tactile luxury of retail leisurewear.

Key Features

  • Premium Sueded Fleece: The fabric has been treated to provide a unique, brushed texture that feels incredibly soft against the skin, ensuring maximum comfort throughout the working day.

  • Two-Tone Ribbing: The subtle contrast in the ribbing adds a technical design detail that elevates the garment above basic alternatives.

  • Kangaroo Pocket: A classic functional feature providing convenient storage for small tools or a way to keep hands warm in cooler environments.

  • Side-Seamed Construction: Unlike tubular garments, side seams ensure the hoodie retains its shape and professional fit even after repeated wear and industrial laundering.

  • Tear-Away Label: This allows for a completely scratch-free experience and offers the flexibility for businesses to add their own internal branding if required.

Design & Performance

Engineered with a blend of 52% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton and 48% polyester fleece, this hoodie strikes a careful balance between natural breathability and synthetic durability. The Airlume cotton is significant; the extensive combing process removes impurities and short fibres, resulting in a smoother surface that is far superior to standard cotton. This medium-weight fabric is substantial enough to provide warmth without the restrictive bulk of heavier fleece options.

The performance of the garment is further enhanced by its ethical credentials. With accreditations from WRAP, the Fair Labour Association, and Bluesign, you can be confident that your workwear has been produced to the highest social and environmental standards. The retail fit is designed to be flattering for all body types, making it a versatile choice for unisex team requirements.

Customisation: Embroidery Only

Due to the unique sueded finish and the luxurious pile of this fleece, we offer this garment for embroidery only. The soft, brushed surface of the fabric is the ideal canvas for high-density needlework. Embroidery ensures that your logo is physically integrated into the fabric, providing a durable and high-end finish that will not crack or peel over time.

Our in-house embroidery department, established in 1976, utilises precision machinery to ensure every stitch is perfectly tensioned. For a garment of this quality, embroidery is the only method that truly reflects the premium nature of the fabric, providing a professional three-dimensional look that withstands the rigours of daily wear.

Use Cases

This hoodie is an excellent choice for client-facing roles in modern tech environments, creative agencies, or high-end retail spaces. Its refined texture also makes it a standout choice for 'Visionnaire Gifting' or as premium merchandise for brands looking to provide a product that recipients will genuinely want to wear outside of office hours. It is equally at home as a layering piece for staff working in temperature-controlled warehouses or showrooms.

Why MyWorkwear

Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been at the forefront of the UK garment decoration industry. Operating from our specialised facility in Telford, we combine decades of heritage with modern technology. When you choose us, you are not just buying a hoodie; you are benefiting from nearly half a century of expertise in textile selection and embroidery precision. We understand the importance of brand image, and our team is dedicated to ensuring your staff look as professional as the services they provide.

Practical Advice

The retail fit of this Bella Canvas hoodie is slightly more tailored than a traditional workwear 'oversized' cut. If your team prefers a more relaxed or 'baggy' feel, we recommend considering one size up from their usual measurement. The self-coloured drawcords allow for easy adjustment of the hood, making it a practical choice for layering under a waterproof shell in inclement weather.

Caring for your product

To maintain the unique sueded texture and ensure your embroidered branding remains in peak condition, proper care is essential. Following these instructions will prevent premature ageing of the fibres and protect the structural integrity of the garment.

We recommend a machine wash at 30°C. High temperatures can damage the polyester fibres and cause the combed cotton to shrink, which may lead to puckering around the embroidery. By keeping the temperature low, you preserve the 'retail fit' and the softness of the sueded finish.

Do not use bleach, as this will aggressively strip the dye from the fabric and weaken the threads used in your embroidered logo. Similarly, this garment should not be tumble dried. High heat in a dryer can cause synthetic fibres to become brittle and lose their softness. We advise air drying to maintain the garment's shape.

Professional dry cleaning should be avoided. The chemicals used in the process can be too harsh for the sueded finish and may degrade the adhesive backings often used in the embroidery process.
