Product Overview
The Stanley/Stella Brooker is a premium unisex Sherpa jacket that represents a significant advancement in sustainable workwear. Constructed from 100% recycled polyester, this heavyweight fleece provides substantial insulation and a robust feel that is designed to withstand the rigours of a professional environment. The relaxed fit allows for ease of movement, while the sophisticated bonding of internal polar fleece ensures the wearer remains warm in challenging conditions without the bulk of traditional outerwear.
Key Features
Recycled Sherpa Fabric: Crafted entirely from recycled polyester, this material provides a high-density thermal layer that effectively traps heat, making it an ideal choice for cold-weather protection.
Bonded Polar Fleece Interior: The internal layer features a fully bonded polar fleece with an anti-pilling finish, which ensures the garment remains soft against the skin and retains its professional appearance after extended use.
Technical Softshell Inserts: Contrast softshell fabric is utilised on the pocket welts, back yoke, and outer collar band to provide enhanced durability and a sharp, modern aesthetic in high-wear areas.
Secure Fastenings: Equipped with a durable plastic Vislon zip and metal puller, the jacket is designed for longevity and ease of operation even when wearing gloves.
Integrated Decoration Access: An invisible internal zip at the chest allows for seamless customisation, ensuring that embroidery backings are hidden for a superior internal finish.
Design & Performance
The Brooker jacket is engineered for those who require more than a standard fleece. Its substantial weight provides a reassuring sense of protection, while the technical construction focuses on long-term performance. The inclusion of elastic recycled binding at the cuffs and hem helps to create a secure seal against the elements, preventing heat loss. Furthermore, the anti-pilling finish on the internal fleece layer means the jacket won't lose its texture or shed fibres onto base layers, maintaining a clean look throughout its lifespan. With accreditations from the Fair Wear Foundation and Peta-Approved Vegan status, it is a garment that performs as well for your corporate social responsibility goals as it does in the field.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This garment is exceptionally well-suited for professional customisation, though the thick Sherpa texture requires the expertise of a seasoned team. Embroidery is the preferred method for this jacket, as it provides a traditional, high-quality finish for corporate logos and staff names. The embroidery sits securely within the plush pile, creating a three-dimensional look that exudes professionalism.
For larger, bolder branding, the contrast softshell panels offer a smooth alternative surface for specific print applications. Our in-house team in Telford, established in 1976, utilises the internal decoration zip to ensure that any custom branding is applied without compromising the garment's integrity or the comfort of the wearer.
Use Cases
The Brooker is a versatile piece that bridges the gap between casual fleece and heavy outerwear. It is ideally suited for site supervisors, technical engineers, and managerial staff who require a smart, professional appearance while working in unheated environments or during site visits. Its premium feel also makes it an excellent choice for corporate gifting or high-end promotional wear for outdoor events.

Practical Advice
This jacket features a relaxed fit, making it a substantial outer layer. We recommend checking the sizing guide to ensure the best fit for your team, particularly if they intend to layer it over thicker sweatshirts. The set-in sleeves provide a structured shoulder line that maintains a professional silhouette even in a relaxed cut.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-quality finish and insulating properties of your Sherpa jacket, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Using a gentle cycle at this temperature helps to preserve the recycled polyester fibres and prevents the bonded layers from separating.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Harsh oxidising agents will degrade the synthetic fibres and can cause significant damage to your custom embroidery or print, leading to premature fading and loss of detail.
It is important that this jacket is not tumble dried. High heat from a dryer can cause the Sherpa texture to mat and may shrink the garment. Instead, allow it to air dry naturally to maintain its shape and soft handle.
If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting (110°C) and avoid direct contact with any printed areas. Excessive heat can melt the polyester fibres, leading to permanent shiny patches. Finally, do not dry clean this product, as the chemicals used in the process can compromise the internal fleece bonding.
