Product Overview
The KX3 Sport Zip Hooded Sweater is a sophisticated approach to modern technical workwear, moving away from traditional bulky layers toward a more streamlined, athletic silhouette. Part of the innovative KX3 range, this garment is engineered from a specialised two-faced fabric that provides substantial warmth while maintaining a lightweight feel. It is designed specifically for the modern professional who requires unrestricted movement and a garment that looks as capable in a client meeting as it does on a technical site.
Key Features
- Innovative Two-Faced Fabric: This technical construction traps heat efficiently between layers, ensuring you remain warm without the need for heavy, cumbersome materials.
- Zipped Side Entry Pockets: Secure storage for essential items ensures that tools or mobile devices remain safe and accessible throughout the working day.
- Elastane-Enhanced Stretch: The inclusion of elastane within the fabric blend allows for a full range of motion, which is vital for tasks requiring physical agility.
- Contemporary Sport Styling: The hooded design and clean lines provide a professional, modern appearance that elevates your company's brand image.
Design & Performance
The KX372 is constructed from a high-performance blend of 75% polyester, 16% viscose, and 9% elastane. This composition is no accident; the polyester provides a durable foundation that resists wear and tear, the viscose adds a soft-to-the-touch finish for all-day comfort, and the elastane ensures the garment snaps back into shape after exertion. The fabric is a substantial, medium-to-heavy weight fleece, offering significant thermal insulation while remaining breathable enough for active use.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The smooth surface of this tech fleece makes it an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery. For a formal and enduring corporate identity, we recommend embroidery; our Telford-based team uses high-precision machinery to ensure your logo is rendered with crisp detail. If you require larger, more vibrant branding or promotional messaging, our high-quality printing processes provide a bold finish that stands out. Having handled customisation since 1976, we ensure every stitch and print meets our rigorous quality standards.
Use Cases
This hooded sweater is ideally suited for tradespeople in active roles, such as electricians, fitters, or site managers who need to maintain a professional appearance while remaining mobile. It also serves as an excellent corporate leisure garment for delivery drivers or warehouse staff working in cooler environments where temperature regulation is key.

Practical Advice
Due to the athletic, technical fit of the KX3 range, this sweater is perfect for layering. It fits comfortably over a base layer or polo shirt and can be worn under a waterproof shell in more extreme weather conditions. If you prefer a more relaxed fit for layering over thicker garments, you may wish to consider the next size up.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and technical properties of this fleece, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C on a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of shape over time.
Do not use bleach on this garment, as the harsh chemicals will degrade the polyester fibres and cause premature fading of the black finish. Similarly, dry cleaning should be avoided to prevent chemical damage to the fabric blend.
We advise against tumble drying; instead, line dry the sweater to maintain its form and prevent static build-up. Ironing is not recommended, as the high heat from an iron can melt the synthetic components of the tech fabric, potentially ruining the finish and any custom branding applied.
