Product Overview

The SOL'S Unisex Factor Recycled Micro Fleece Bodywarmer represents a sophisticated approach to mid-layer insulation. This medium-weight gilet is designed for professionals who require freedom of movement without sacrificing core warmth. By utilising 100% recycled polyester, it offers a sustainable alternative for modern workwear requirements, providing a soft-touch finish that is as durable as it is environmentally responsible.

Key Features
  • Full-Length Zip: The robust front fastening allows for easy ventilation and quick transitions between indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Two Front Zip Pockets: Securely house essential tools or mobile devices, ensuring items remain safe during active shifts.
  • Bound Elasticated Armholes and Hem: These features provide a close, comfortable fit that effectively traps heat and prevents draughts from entering.
  • Unlined Construction: This design choice minimises bulk, making it an exceptional layering piece that fits neatly under heavier outer jackets.
  • Tear-Out Label: Ideal for organisations looking to provide a distraction-free experience or for those wishing to apply their own branding internally.

Design & Performance

Crafted from a medium-weight micro fleece, this bodywarmer is engineered for performance. The 100% recycled polyester fabric is chosen for its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and its ability to withstand the rigours of daily wear. The micro fleece texture is naturally insulating, catching air to maintain body temperature in cooler conditions. Its unlined nature ensures that the garment remains breathable, preventing the wearer from overheating during periods of high activity.

Furthermore, the garment holds several prestigious certifications, including Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and OEKO-TEX Standard 100. These ensure that the materials used are free from harmful substances and that the production process adheres to strict environmental and social criteria. It is a garment that performs well while meeting the highest ethical standards.

Customisation: Embroidery Only

Due to the specific pile and texture of micro fleece, this garment is offered exclusively for embroidery. While heat-applied prints can struggle to adhere permanently to fleece fibres, embroidery provides a premium, permanent solution. Our in-house embroidery team, established in 1976, ensures that every stitch is precise, creating a professional finish that remains sharp even after repeated washing.

Choosing embroidery for this bodywarmer ensures your company logo stands out with a three-dimensional quality that suggests authority and longevity. It is the gold standard for branding on fleece materials, ensuring your identity is represented with the quality it deserves.

Use Cases

This versatile gilet is an excellent choice for a wide variety of sectors. It is particularly well-suited for event staff and stewards who require a smart, identifiable uniform that provides warmth during long shifts. It is also a popular choice for school, college, and university societies, offering a cohesive look for members. Tradespeople will find it invaluable as a layering piece that provides core warmth while keeping arms free for manual tasks.

Practical Advice

As a unisex garment, we recommend reviewing the sizing carefully to ensure a comfortable fit for all team members. Because this is a medium-weight item, it is best worn over a polo shirt or long-sleeved base layer. If your work involves extreme cold, it serves as a perfect mid-layer beneath a high-visibility or waterproof outer shell without restricting movement at the shoulders.

Caring for your product

To maintain the soft texture of the micro fleece and the integrity of your embroidered logo, we recommend a domestic wash at no higher than 40°C. Washing at excessive temperatures can cause the polyester fibres to harden, which eventually leads to a loss of softness and insulation.

Avoid the use of bleach, as this will damage the recycled polyester fibres and cause the colours of both the garment and the embroidery thread to fade prematurely. When drying, it is best to air dry the garment; if you must use a tumble dryer, ensure it is on a low heat setting to prevent static build-up and fibre damage. Do not iron this garment, as direct heat can melt the micro fleece surface and distort the embroidery.
