Product Overview

The SF470 Unisex All-In-One is a meticulously designed garment that bridges the gap between high-street fashion and functional workwear. Engineered with a contemporary slim fit, this all-in-one avoids the cumbersome silhouette of traditional loungewear, offering a professional appearance suitable for a variety of commercial environments. The medium-weight fabric provides a substantial feel without being overly restrictive, ensuring the wearer remains comfortable throughout extended periods of use.

Key Features
  • Slim-Fit Silhouette: A tailored cut that provides a modern, professional look while maintaining full range of movement.
  • Brushed Back Fleece: The interior fabric is treated to create a soft, insulating layer that traps warmth effectively.
  • Zipper Front Opening: High-quality front closure allows for easy donning and removal, essential for busy staff or quick costume changes.
  • Flatlock Stitching: Used on the armholes and kangaroo pocket to provide superior seam strength and a flatter profile that prevents irritation.
  • Tear-Out Label: Facilitates easy rebranding, making it an ideal choice for businesses looking to establish their own clothing line.

Design & Performance

The performance of the SF470 lies in its fabric composition, consisting of 80% cotton and 20% polyester (with variations for Heather Grey). The high cotton content ensures the garment is breathable and soft to the touch, which is critical for skin health during long shifts. The addition of polyester is a technical necessity; it provides the garment with the required elasticity and shape retention, ensuring the cuffs and hood do not lose their structure after repeated laundering. The inclusion of a jersey-lined, two-piece hood adds a layer of refinement and extra warmth for outdoor transit.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This all-in-one is a versatile choice for custom branding. For businesses seeking a premium, executive finish, we recommend embroidery. It is particularly effective for chest-placed logos, providing a three-dimensional, high-quality texture that withstands heavy usage. For larger-scale designs or promotional messaging, printing offers a bold and vibrant alternative that remains flexible against the fleece fabric. Our Telford-based production team, operating since 1976, utilises state-of-the-art machinery to ensure every logo is applied with absolute precision.

Use Cases

The SF470 is perfectly suited for dance and performance troupes requiring a uniform look during rehearsals, or for fitness professionals and personal trainers during recovery periods. It also serves as excellent staff uniform for creative agencies or as high-quality merchandise for boutique brands. Because it matches the kids' SM470, it is also a popular choice for family-oriented events or team building retreats where a unified appearance is required across all age groups.

Practical Advice

Given the slim-fit nature of this all-in-one, we recommend reviewing the sizing carefully. For those who prefer a more relaxed fit for layering over other clothing, choosing one size larger than your standard measurement may be beneficial. The elasticated 1x1 rib cuffs are designed to be snug, keeping the sleeves and ankles in place during activity.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of your all-in-one, it is essential to follow the technical care instructions. We recommend a synthetic wash at 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures can lead to the breakdown of the polyester fibres, causing the garment to lose its shape and the fleece to lose its softness.

Do not use bleach, as this will aggressively degrade the cotton fibres and lead to permanent discolouration. Tumble drying is not recommended; instead, the garment should be dried naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight. Direct exposure to intense heat can cause the fabric to become brittle and may damage any custom print or embroidery.

When ironing, use a medium (two-dot) setting and never apply heat directly to any decorated areas. If you have chosen a printed design, ironing directly onto the motif can melt the ink and ruin both the design and your iron. Always wash dark colours separately to prevent dye transfer onto lighter garments.
