Product Overview

The Russell Collection Women's long sleeve polycotton easycare poplin shirt is a sophisticated staple designed for those who require a professional appearance without sacrificing comfort. Crafted from a blend that marries the breathability of cotton with the resilience of polyester, this shirt is engineered to withstand the rigours of a busy working environment while maintaining its crisp, elegant finish. Its versatile design makes it an essential component of any professional wardrobe, providing a polished look that remains consistent throughout the working day.

Key Features
  • A classic single-button collar provides a neat, structured appearance that frames the face and sits perfectly under knitwear or jackets.
  • Rounded two-button adjustable cuffs allow for a customisable fit around the wrist, ensuring comfort and a professional silhouette.
  • The functional V-shaped pocket on the left chest offers a convenient place for essential items while adding a traditional, professional design element.
  • A rounded hem ensures the shirt looks well-tailored whether it is tucked into trousers or worn more casually.

Design & Performance

Utilising a fine poplin weave, this shirt offers a smooth, lightweight surface that feels soft against the skin. The fabric composition of 65% polyester and 35% cotton is specifically chosen for its easycare properties, meaning it resists creases and remains straightforward to maintain. This blend ensures the garment is durable enough for daily use while retaining the breathability required for indoor environments. The thoughtful construction ensures that the shirt holds its shape, providing a reliable fit shift after shift.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This shirt provides an ideal canvas for corporate branding. For a superior and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos or individual names; the fine poplin fabric supports detailed stitching, resulting in a professional appearance that conveys authority. Alternatively, if your branding requires larger or more vibrant designs for promotional purposes, our high-quality printing services provide a bold and clear solution. Our expert in-house team in Telford, established in 1976, handles all customisation to ensure your brand is represented with precision.

Use Cases

This versatile garment is perfectly suited for a wide range of professional settings. It is a popular choice for front-of-house staff in the hospitality sector, corporate office environments, and retail teams who must maintain a smart and unified image. Its extensive size range ensures it is an inclusive option for outfitting entire teams across various departments.

Practical Advice

This shirt is available in sizes ranging from XS to 4XL, catering to a diverse workforce. When selecting your size, consider the intended use; a more tailored fit is often preferred for formal corporate roles, while those in active hospitality positions may appreciate a slightly more generous fit to allow for a full range of movement throughout the day.

Caring for your product

To maintain the professional appearance and longevity of your shirt, it is suitable for a domestic wash at 50°C. Washing at this temperature ensures effective cleaning while protecting the integrity of the polyester and cotton fibres, preventing premature wear.

The garment is also compatible with tumble drying. Using a standard drying cycle helps to activate the easycare properties of the fabric, reducing the time spent ironing and ensuring the shirt is ready for its next wear with minimal effort. Following these instructions will ensure your custom branding remains vibrant and the fabric retains its structure over time.
