Product Overview
The Result Workguard Sabre stretch trousers are engineered for the active professional who requires both flexibility and structural integrity. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has provided garments that balance form and function, and these trousers are a prime example of modern engineering. Constructed from a high-performance stretch fabric, they allow for a full range of movement while maintaining a smart, professional silhouette. These are designed to be a dependable component of any professional uniform, offering durability without the restrictive feel of traditional heavy-duty work trousers.
Key Features
- Anatomic comfort waistband: The elasticised waistband provides an adjustable fit and essential draught protection, ensuring the garment stays in place during physical activity.
- Articulated knee stitching: This design feature allows the fabric to move naturally with the wearer, reducing strain on the seams when kneeling or bending.
- Critical stress point bar tacking: Reinforced stitching at high-tension areas ensures these trousers won't fail when subjected to the rigours of a demanding workday.
- Interchangeable colour zip pulls: Supplied with four sets of colour zip pulls, this system allows for subtle corporate colour matching or easy identification within a team.
- Reinforced hem panels: Increased resistance at the base of the leg prevents fraying and wear, extending the overall lifespan of the garment.
Design & Performance
The fabric composition is a sophisticated blend of 63% polyester, 34% cotton, and 3% elastane. This combination creates a medium-weight fabric that is both breathable and resilient. The addition of elastane provides the necessary "give" for a comfort fit, while the polyester-cotton mix ensures the trousers are hardwearing enough for daily industrial use. Multiple pockets, including hand warmers and secure zip-closing side pockets, offer practical storage for tools and personal items, while the reflective strip detail on the right-hand pocket adds a subtle element of safety.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
These trousers are highly adaptable for corporate branding. For a superior, professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for logos or names; the dense weave of the fabric provides an excellent foundation for high-quality thread work. If your branding requires large, bold graphics, our printing process offers a vibrant and durable finish. All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, ensuring your brand is represented with the precision that our 1976 heritage demands.
Use Cases
The Sabre stretch trousers are ideal for individuals in active trades, facility management, and the hospitality sector. They are particularly suited for workers who find themselves frequently moving between office and site environments, as the smart design transition seamlessly between different professional settings. The inclusive size range from S to 5XL ensures a uniform look across a diverse workforce.

Practical Advice
These trousers are designed with an ergonomic comfort fit, and the elasticised waistband offers a degree of flexibility. We recommend selecting your usual waist size and choosing between the regular or long leg options to ensure the articulated knee stitching aligns correctly with your leg. For those working in cooler environments, the draught-protection waistband makes these an excellent choice for layering over thermal base garments.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance stretch and ensure your custom branding remains in peak condition, we recommend a domestic wash at 60°C. This temperature is effective at removing oils and dirt commonly encountered in the workplace without damaging the fabric structure.
You must avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of stretch and potentially causing the fabric to lose its shape. Furthermore, bleach will likely damage any embroidery or print customisation applied to the garment.
When ironing, please use a low heat setting. High temperatures can scorch the synthetic fibres and negatively impact the trousers' elasticity. Do not dry clean or tumble dry these trousers; air drying is the best way to preserve the reinforced seams and the integrity of the pocket linings over time.
