Practical Advice
The Junior PolarTherm bodywarmer is available in a range of sizes from XXS (ages 3/4) up to XL (ages 12/14). When selecting a size, we recommend accounting for the thickness of the layers likely to be worn underneath. The stretchy nature of the fleece provides some leeway, but a generous fit often works best for layering over winter clothing.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the integrity of the heavy fleece requires proper care. We recommend a domestic wash at 40°C to keep the garment clean while protecting the fibres. However, this item is safe to wash at 60°C if more intensive cleaning is required after outdoor activities.
You must avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will break down the polyester fibres and cause the colour to fade. If using a tumble dryer, select a low heat setting to prevent the fleece from becoming stiff or losing its insulating properties.
Do not iron this garment. The high heat of an iron can melt the synthetic fleece fibres and damage the reflective 3M Scotchlite triangles. For those who prefer professional maintenance, this bodywarmer is also safe for professional dry cleaning.
