Product Overview
The Result Core R203X is a thoughtfully designed waterproof jacket that prioritises both protection and wearer comfort. Engineered to withstand the unpredictable nature of the British climate, this garment features a robust StormDri PU coated polyester outer layer that provides a reliable barrier against wind and rain. Inside, the jacket is fully lined with a soft microfleece, offering an additional layer of warmth without the unnecessary bulk associated with heavier winter coats. It is an ideal solution for professionals who require a lightweight, year-round outer layer that maintains a professional appearance while delivering dependable performance in adverse conditions.
Key Features
- Waterproof Taped Seams: Every seam is meticulously taped to prevent water ingress, ensuring the wearer remains dry even during prolonged exposure to wet weather.
- Fold-away Waterproof Hood: The integrated hood can be quickly deployed when the clouds burst and neatly stowed away when no longer required, providing versatility for changing conditions.
- Zipped Side Pockets with Cargo Retention Welts: Securely store essential tools or personal items with the peace of mind that they are protected from falling out or being exposed to the elements.
- Reflective Back Detail: A reflective tape across the lower back panel enhances visibility in low-light environments, providing a necessary safety feature for roadside or site work.
- Microfleece Collar Facing: The addition of fleece at the collar provides a soft touch against the skin, preventing the chafing often caused by standard synthetic materials.
Design & Performance
The performance of the R203X lies in its technical construction. The outer fabric is a StormDri PU coated polyester which achieves a waterproof rating of 2000mm. This makes it highly effective at repelling rain while remaining lightweight enough for active work. The internal microfleece lining extends through the body and sleeves, providing consistent thermal retention. The inclusion of elasticated cuffs helps to trap heat and prevent wind from travelling up the sleeves, while the lower back hem access point demonstrates a clear understanding of the needs of the professional decorator.
Customisation: Embroidery Only
For this particular jacket, we recommend embroidery as the primary method of customisation. The microfleece lining and the specific texture of the PU coated outer fabric are best suited to the structural integrity of a stitched logo. Our in-house embroidery team, based in Telford, has been perfecting this craft since 1976. Embroidery provides a premium, high-definition finish that will not peel or fade, ensuring your corporate branding remains professional and legible throughout the lifespan of the garment.
Use Cases
The unisex design and broad size range make this jacket a versatile choice for entire workforces. It is particularly well-suited for site supervisors, logistics personnel, and maintenance teams who frequently transition between indoor and outdoor environments. Its lightweight nature also makes it an excellent choice for corporate events or as a branded uniform for staff who require a smart yet functional outer layer.

Practical Advice
This jacket is designed with a standard fit to accommodate layering. If your team typically wears heavy jumpers or sweatshirts underneath their outerwear, we recommend reviewing the sizing chart to ensure a comfortable fit. The lightweight construction makes it an excellent choice for layering over a polo shirt in the spring or a thermal mid-layer during the colder months.
Caring for your product
To ensure the longevity of the waterproof coating and the vibrancy of your embroidered logo, it is essential to follow the specific care instructions provided. We recommend a domestic wash at 30°C. Using higher temperatures can degrade the PU coating, eventually compromising the jacket's waterproof capabilities.
Do not use bleach, as this will damage the fabric fibres and lead to discoloration of both the jacket and the embroidery thread. This garment should not be tumble dried; the intense heat of a dryer can cause the waterproof membranes to delaminate and the fleece to lose its insulating properties. Similarly, do not iron this jacket, as direct heat will melt the synthetic outer fabric.
