Product Overview
The Result R155A is a medium-weight waterproof jacket engineered to provide reliable protection against the elements without the excessive bulk of a heavy winter coat. Designed with a focus on practicality and professional presentation, this jacket acts as a dependable shield for teams working in unpredictable British weather. It serves as an essential outer layer that balances weatherproofing with portability, allowing it to be stored easily in a rucksack when the conditions improve.
Key Features
- Fully Taped Seams: Every internal seam is industrially sealed to prevent water ingress, ensuring the wearer remains dry even during persistent rainfall.
- Foldaway Lined Hood: The hood features a shadow-printed lining and shockcord adjusters for a secure fit, and can be neatly tucked into the collar when not required.
- Stormflap Closure: A stud-closing stormflap covers the main zip to block wind and rain from penetrating the front of the jacket, maintaining core temperature.
- Adjustable Cuffs and Hem: Tear-release cuffs and a shockcord hem allow for a tailored fit that traps warmth and prevents uncomfortable drafts.
- Reflective Piping: Integrated decorative piping around the lower body increases visibility in low-light conditions, adding a layer of safety for outdoor workers.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 210T StormDri polyester with a PU coating, the fabric provides a waterproof rating of 2000mm, making it ideal for moderate rain and wind. The medium-weight construction ensures the jacket is sturdy enough to withstand daily wear on-site while remaining flexible enough for active tasks. Inside, a polyester sport mesh lining in the body promotes breathability by allowing air to circulate, while the nylon taffeta lining in the hood and sleeves ensures smooth movement and easy layering over other workwear garments.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This jacket has been specifically designed with customisation in mind, featuring a concealed access point at the hem. This allows our production team to apply your branding without piercing the outer waterproof layer of the main body. For a traditional, high-end professional appearance, embroidery is highly recommended for chest logos or individual staff names. If your branding requires large, vibrant graphics on the back, our print techniques—including direct and transfer printing—provide a sharp, bold finish. All customisation is carried out by our expert team in Telford, drawing on our heritage established in 1976 to ensure your brand is represented with precision.
Use Cases
The R155A is a versatile choice for a wide range of industries. It is particularly well-suited for site supervisors, delivery personnel, and event staff who require a professional appearance that does not compromise on weather protection. Its ability to pack down neatly also makes it an excellent choice for sports teams or promotional staff who are frequently on the move between locations.

Practical Advice
Sizing for this jacket ranges from Small to 2XL. We recommend reviewing the chest measurements carefully, as the medium-weight fabric is designed to fit comfortably over standard work shirts. If you intend to wear heavy fleeces or thick sweatshirts underneath during the winter months, you may wish to consider a larger size to ensure a full range of motion for physical tasks.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance of the StormDri coating and ensure the longevity of your custom branding, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. Maintaining the waterproof integrity of the garment requires a gentle approach to cleaning.
Machine wash the jacket at a maximum of 30°C. Using a cool wash protects the PU coating from degrading and prevents the adhesive in printed designs from lifting or cracking over time. Do not use bleach, as harsh chemicals will damage the waterproof membrane and discolour the polyester fabric.
Do not iron this garment; the high heat of an iron will melt the synthetic polyester fibres and the waterproof coating, causing permanent damage. Similarly, tumble drying and dry cleaning should be strictly avoided to prevent shrinkage and structural damage to the taped seams. Simply hang the jacket to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
